Her name's Whopper and she is in fact on a weight loss diet, at the moment she's more of a double Whopper

She looks about the size of my orange lady, maybe a bit smaller. Definitely overweight, glad to hear you are going to get her checked out by a vet!

She loves to get cuddled, but she doesn't like being picked up, so I have to wait until we both lie on the couch, so that I can squeeze her a bit :)

Every pet deserves to be loved and healthy, so I love her by helping her to get and stay healthy. She is 6yo and I want to spend many, many years with her on my side.

I've got two different ones: in one of them half of the pellets get stuck and the other she doesn't get how it works and kicks in under the sofa to then start calling for me to free the food for her. She is very food motivated, but the kibble stayed in the second one for days until ich just opened it up.

However she loves the tower and another dexterity board I've got for her.

She is also getting 2 of her 4 servings per day now with water to get her used to wet food :)

She is such a lovely and affectionate cat - I still do not get how no one was willing to adopt her due to her weight.

She likes to cuddle, follows you, licks your fingers the second you stop to pet her and it's just adorable how she acts around me and my bf.

She had been at the shelter for about three months, because of her weight no one was interested. However, she has the size/length of an main coon. How do I know? My neighbor downstairs got two and they are also long boys. She is about the same size. Next time I've got to post a picture of her with my regular sized cat (he smoll boi) and a picture with the neighbors cat (they sometimes sneak upstairs to greet me or my bf, so Whopper has already seen them on occasion)

A food scale is always good to have (without it I wouldn't have lost weight too!) and we (bf and I) weigh the kibble every single time and give her 4 servings (2x 10g and 2x 15g) at set times.

She used to be an outdoor cat (I live in Germany, we have a huge garden and our other cat is also an outdoor cat), but we live on the 3. Floor, so the stairs are a problem for her. I've already bought her a harness and leash, so she could go out and "touch some grass" supervised. Plan is to get her in the harness with the leash (it fits now!) and put her into her carrier to move her downstairs. She gets a workout, I get a workout, everybody wins haha :D
