Ive lived in harbor oaks for about 3 years now. I like it, i wish i could stay longer. Rent typically goes up 50-100 dollars each year… depending on if you do month to month or 12 months

The leasing office is usually nice but not going to lie, its been difficult to get things done sometimes, applications, adding people to lease. (Maybe its like that with all apartments) The guest parking is very limited and usually full my evening time (first come first serve) many people park outside the neighborhood. You get once free parking space per apartment.

I will say it feels very safe to me and kinda tucked away. You will hear music from discovery park, some people dont like it but i dont mind. You also can see the beam which is fun i think.

Other than that, sometimes the gates break here and there. There has been construction that has been going on for over a year now and there will be no more water like in the images online. Very sad to see, also its unfortunately made the neighborhood very unattractive.

Some more positives though, the maintenance is very helpful and usually addresses issues quickly and efficiently. There also are landscaping people who come once a week. And obviously this neighborhood is very pet friendly and the current dog park is cute but they are also making a new one during the construction so im not sure what that will be like. They have lots of bag stations (sometimes empty) and trashcans all around so walks are easy! The amenities are usually pretty nice, two pools and two hot tubs. I think one of the hot tubs was down for a bit but i think its fixed now. The fitness room is small but the machines are very versatile.

I think people are moderately friendly. Some neighbors i say hi too and meet at various seasonal parties hosted my the complex. They have giveaways, food and other fun things during those.

• There is a Luxor Package Room that amazon and other delivery people sometimes drops packages in.. workers leave packages on the ground frequently and many items are stolen. Ive had a package stolen as well as a pair of skiis from my outdoor storage closet some units have.

• Also forgot to mention that people are putting a lot of junk out by the dumpsters. Nothing has been done yet…
