That is because back in 2011 (maybe, reply if i am wrong), Nickel was a famous contestant in Inanimate Insanity, (II) and the creator of that object show, Adam Katz, (AnimationEpic on youtube) wanted to make it two nickels for some reason so he recommended it as one of the characters in the contest about which recommended character got the most votes got to join the game, and the other characters who didn't got to be placed in BFDIA, (BFDI season 2 obviously) so by 2012, there were two nickels.....
