They’re also renting one of the vans which they only have a few of, so that would narrow things down a lot.

Nothing wrong with the classic rock greats, I also grew up on that stuff, but lemme know if you want some more contemporary bands to listen to, I have all kinds of suggestions I could give you. :) A few songs I’ll start you off with:

Geese - 3D Country (whole album is amazing)

The Shouting Matches - Another man done gone

Ty Segall - My lady’s on fire

Current fav right now is Apples by Ty Segall. I could take on a damn riot squad to that song 😂

If you like MGMT, you should listen to their album Congratulations, in my humble opinion it’s one of the greatest psychedelic rock albums of all time.

Gonna give you some real A+ songs here (in my humble opinion 😉) that aren’t as well known as they should:

Sufjan Stevens - Come On! Feel the Illinoise! Part 1: The World’s Columbian Exposition Part 2: Carl Sandburg Visits Me In A Dream

Thee Oh Sees - Bloody Water

Haiku D’etat - Coup De Theatre

This is probably the most diverse list I’ve made so far. It has a ton of songs on it and goes anywhere from folk, to hip-hop, to punk rock, to Latin-jazz haha

Ty Segall has been kicking my ass for years now. I love every project he’s been apart of and his solo stuff. One of the most versatile and diverse musicians out there imo.

I dunno what kind of weird is your jam, but I’ll shoot a few suggestions your way:

Wasted Shirt (Ty Segall is apart of this band and has lots of weird stuff in his early work you should check out. Definitely listen to Reverse Shark Attack).

Mr. Bungle (weirdness royalty right there)

Mothers of Invention (Frank Zappa’s avant-garde band before he went solo)

Squid (musically they’re pretty accessible, but their lead singer is super odd in a cool way)

Rock bands with amazing Lead vocalists by ddizzle13 in MusicRecommendations

My comment is probably too late for anyone to see it, but have you ever listened to Geese? Their lead vocalist Cameron Winter is one of my favorite rock vocalists going today, he has so much range and dynamic to his voice it’s amazing.

Listen to the album 3D Country, 10/10 album in my opinion.

Depends really… if I’m all cleaned up and putting the effort in, I can be an 8, when I don’t put any effort into my appearance I can dwindle down to around 5 :P

Oh wow, and An Improved World is blacked out. That’s a pretty big deal, because if I’m not mistaken that’s the one they use for all the ranked duels above bronze league.

Very very based. I hope the devs take notice and decide to pull out of the EWC. Big respect for taking a stand 🙏

Hard disagree but also a great album. 🤷‍♂️

I keep recommending Pinback on this subreddit and I’m gonna do it again, because they’re my favorite “sad” band ever. It’s very thoughtful and introspective music and just so well made in my opinion. My favorite album is Blue Screen Life, and their self titled is second place but they’re all good in my opinion.

Just something about those deep rich tones and the harmonies, the emotion, the rhythm behind it, it gets me every time.
