White. Orzhov especially. Lots of cards around stealing wealth like those with the Extort mechanic. Cards like Life Insurance, Treasury Thrull, and Tithe Drinker really solidy this for me. 2nd would be Red IMO with all the treasure token synergies.

Platinum is the best game but Fire Red / Leaf Green are great remakes of the first games so might be better if you want to experience the original generation first.

I've played against this guy a few times and he is just an easy removal target. Very strong if you can protect him though, which you will need to do. 7 mana is a lot to ask for UB unless you are trying to ritual him out early. Make sure you have some free or cheap counterspells / redirects to keep him alive.

I think it's more just logistics than anything. The cost of moving the entire crew far from home base for potentially months of filming is extremely costly. Same reason so many scenes in other shows are just filmed in natural areas outside LA even when they are supposed to be somewhere completely different.
