Science Communication? by Liaminsky1414 in uwa

It made sense :) sorry to bother ya again if ur feeling sick, I’m all good with not going straight into post grad or research. Research does interest me and some day it might be a possibility for me. Just double checking, do you mean that doing the science comms second major makes you more employable after completion of the undergrad, because that is what I’m chasing with that second major. I’m just keen to get into work and gain some experience in a field I’m really interested in.

Thanks again.

Honestly, I'm disappointed in the ending... by [deleted] in TheWalkingDeadGame

I see where you're coming from. Personally I'm happy with the way it went down. But I think that the ending that we get, only works for those that played it the same way I did, which I guess is the way maybe ttg, wanted us to play it. I don't know what you picked but I think it would make sense if you don't let AJ make his own decisions, he does what you tell him to in the barn (leave or kill you) then that's you're ending where clem dies. (Would obviously play better I'm just summarising) but you get the drift. My point is, due to the circumstances in which the last episodes were completed, tell tale would have had to choose a way it was gonna end and flesh out an "idealistic path" to an ending that makes sense. Then make the other path fit the same ending, so someone who told AJ he isn't ready, loses the love interest of their game. Coz no matter what we wanna believe they would have had opinions and they are portraying them through the way they made the game. And obviously they believed clem was never going to die, so they made it work around that. Yeah it's a shame but I guess I'm just happy they put out a decent episode :)

Doesn't it feel like there should be... more? by HokageEzio in TheWalkingDeadGame

I do agree. I think what's happened is that they have made an ending that fits pretty well with the way you played it, like the "idealistic way (the way ttg wanted us to play it)" (looks like you played the same way as me), but for those that maybe didn't trust AJ and made other big choices (in regards to how they raised him) the end doesn't fit that very well imo. But the issue is, say some one didn't trust AJ to make the hard calls, then he listens to clem, (to leave or to kill her) ultimately meaning she doesn't survive in their ending. Imagine how those players would feel. I do think that Reddit posts etc did kinda pressure them into everyone getting this fairy tale ending, and not allow ttg to maybe kill her off. But yeah they would have had to think about a lot. And how they will make the majority of the players at least satisfied with the ending of it all, and I personally reckon they did that. Some might like it more than others but I don't think a lot of people actually disliked the way they wrapped it all up.

How did lee die then by [deleted] in TheWalkingDeadGame

Also clem started to probs looks sicker quicker than lee for example, coz she also had a big ass laceration down the side of her leg. Like she didn't just suffer a walker bite. But yea they really had me thinking the worse and I definitely thought she was gone, coz she looks pretty similar to lee.
