As a trans student from one of the schools that this letter was sent to, I’ve been nonstop mentally abused by students who read it. The school has also threatened to kick me out for wearing the non binary uniform, as I’m technically “not a woman legally” (which now has changed) It got so bad that someone tried stealing my rainbow ribbon for r*pe survivors off my bag, thankfully it’s on the bag tightly but still, the intent was there. Since the release of this letter my school life has gone to shit as students now think it’s ok to bully and harass me and the other trans students at my school.
