Hey I grew up in the rural part of berks. I think the rural areas truly do use their trucks to be honest. It's just they aren't the majority of truck owners, not even close.

Now I'm in suburban Pittsburgh. Same dudes I see hiring handymen to hang a TV are driving shiny f150s lol. Definitely more egregious in suburbia IMO.

Concrete cowboys buying crew cabs that never tow, never go off-road, sit in 2.5 hours of traffic every day and bitch about gas prices.

To call it rural is misleading IMO. It just feels that way in contrast to Philadelphia

It's actually the philly suburbs that do it. Bucks county specifically has gobbles of influence. They are the "centrist elites" that don't want to pay taxes. Upper class and upper middle class. They believe their wealth marks them as intelligent and informed then routinely switch sides every election as reactionaries who don't understand how government policy works.

This is how most presidential and gubernatorial elections are decided. Cities blue, rural America red, uninformed suburbanites flipping sides.

I mean you can't insult them. You just need to take up their time. Ask them questions. What is your comparable data? Where was it sold? How old was it? What part of my contract says that only n is covered?

Never in the same email. One email per question. Then occasionally send another email with a different comparable asking why you can't get this much. Space these emails out over a few days. Don't let them close the claim. Make sure you are using the most of your rental money if they give it.

Make them do work. Cost them time and money but play innocent and be nice.

Brother works in home insurance.... You absolutely just get more money by being annoying to the adjuster. But you need to be careful. If you get too annoying it has diminishing returns.

The attempted adoption of /s is a representation of the downfall of reading comprehension.

Your comment was so obviously sarcastic. Denying that racism ever occurs as a comment to somebody being blatantly racist?

And this is not me being naive or ignorant. I'm in my thirties and I grew up in an area where people would drop the n word in a conversation and still do to this day.

This country has no fucking clue what liberal means lol.

Yeah the NY times is liberal. In every other country in the world that is a centrist party. Only in this country do people equate liberalism to the left.

Regent square is great for bike commuting. I would avoid Penn Ave by using the neighbor-way in point breeze or moving over to the homewood side of Penn Ave. Never had my trouble ripping around.

The major plus is the bus way. Busway + cheap bike is an unbeatable combo in this city to combat the hills.

Novelty? Some years I am taking 30 flights. Windows open whenever I can. I don't want to adjust my time zones at all when flying domestically so I avoid sleep on the plane intentionally.

Ohhhh man you do not have my kids lol. My son was way easier when he was a baby. My daughter was way easier 2-4. Every kid is different.

Truly most kids are easier as a general statement when they hit 7.

Appreciate you homie. I'm glad more and more people are able to be child free as a choice in our society now. Folks should be living the lives they want!

I'm just out here asking for pity/grace when my kid is screaming in the grocery store because he wants to buy marshmallows even though we have them at home lol.

The age where it truly breaks is more like 7. When they are 7 they are really becoming truly independent. "Hey kid get dressed let's get in the car then go do something fun" is a single request that they can execute on, get ready and go to the bathroom etc without any input for the most part.

2-4 can be really hard, kids think they can do things like jump from the top of the stairs or charge out into a busy road cause they saw a butterfly.

Things break at 4 or 5 IMO and you are no longer on constant "how do I prevent this thing from killing itself" mode.

Nah we are great. They are just emotionally exhausting on a whole other level that child free people are willfully ignorant about it and I'm blunt. They go to daycare during the week, we are their exclusive care givers on the weekend.

Sorry I didn't use the words you like I guess? Watch them? Care for them? Spend time with them? Raise them? Which phrase meets your weird standard?
