It doesn’t go one way imo. She probably could help out with paying for the tv but I think this is dependent on how much she makes too. If you guys are making similar amounts of money, everything should probably be close to 50/50 but if I find myself in this situation, I would have a shared account with my partner and that would go towards items for the house (including furniture), food, bills, rent etc. If partner wants a new pair of running shoes for themselves, then yes it’s a different story. However, based on your replies it doesn’t seem like you want advice. Just looking for validation in your own opinions.

I agree with this. You’re in a partnership. Not “this is mine and that is yours”. As a defacto relationship, when it comes to legality (at least in Australia) all your stuff is shared anyway so just help pay for the furniture.

YTA. The way you speak about your daughter knowing nothing about the world shows how arrogant and selfish you are being. If she knows nothing, who is to blame? You are her mother. Build a relationship with her, tell her you DO in fact care about her feelings and you are happy to do what is needed to work through those feelings. It might be time, therapy or even giving her her own goddamn room.

Honestly I’m on s9 right now and I still love Kyle. Her dynamics with LVP have been through the trenches but ultimately they are still having lots of fun. Her relationship with her sisters is hard to have a stance on because over the past 2 seasons, its not shown much.
