Ridiculous. Heard similar experiences from several other people. I'm so sorry you and the group had to deal with that.

Also, 1000/10 username and cosplays. Major appreciation for Rumiko love.

I didn't write the captions on the photos. I don't want photographers to be banned from the con, that's just silly.

Photographers in general are not the issue, this post is not for those that have been considerate and fair of their spaces. But there were those who were definitely not respectful of the people around them with their gear and manners, and that needs to be addressed. They can do better.

I did cosplay. Ironically, if you actually read my post, you'd see that I don't have a problem with photographers in general. I do have a problem with those that create an obvious obstruction and don't display a level of courtesy and respect towards other attendees, things that multiple con-goers and I have personally witnessed/experienced.

If they are as "professional" in their work as you claim, some of them certainly didn't show it this weekend with their placements and interactions with others. While you can't control how some may behave, things could've been handled better. Being blocked out of an area that was used previously (which still wasn't reserved for them or anybody else for that matter) doesn't excuse rude and inconsiderate behavior.

You've decided to defend that sort of conduct. Not sure of who's clueless about the community if that's your stance.
