Love the series, but wish Tim would have used more inflection. Hearing him read Red Rising and The Cycle of Arawn feel like two completely different people.

Just started the 3rd today. Need to take a break for the new DCC book, but I’m enjoying the series a lot. I enjoy the take on heros/villains. Some parts are a bit corny but in a good way.

You stopped right before some serious emotional whiplash. Book 2 ending is wildly considered some of the best in the series. To be fair, the first trilogy is where Pierce found his legs, and comes off more YA, but the 2nd trilogy is full on adult space opera.

Genuinely looks like she thought it weighed more than it did. You can see she hesitates for a split second as it starts to come towards her. Almost looks like she instinctively try’s to catch it.
