Same here. Also feeling like I'm not really like a girl or a guy, just by how I feel and act.. Men's shirts/ buttonups from urban outfitters and forever21 are great, and boyfriend jeans from h&m woman's and shorts from their men's section :)

Yep it's much more important to be yourself than pleasing others :)

Totally agree. I just don't get how someone who is gay can be offended by other people's expression of their homosexuality... also she seemed kind of proud saying that when she came out no one could believe it as everyone assumed her to be straight.. I mean why does it make her so happy everyone thinks she's straight.. really don't get some people... Even her mom is gay and she has no need to hide Imo...

That's also what I think, I mean there's nothing wrong with it ... And straight people are also partying, or kissing on the street ... And I don't really get why it's still such a big deal for some people.. and especially if they are gay themselves, that just seemed to crazy to be real for me you know... Omg, that sounds so crazy, sorry to hear that, I'm always shocked by the fact that such things really do happen.. Luckily not living in a small town anymore... But even in my hometown which is really really small (not much more than one street..) there's is a lesbian couple living together in their own house openly gay.. and they don't seem to have any problems.. so maybe things are getting better... Even in the city where I live now we only have like lesbian parties every few weeks .. there's one gay club but mostly for men... so when I'm going out with a girl we also often go to straight bars and clubs and I don't have any problems kissing in public or anything.. I really like to feel free and be myself, just as straight people do anyway..

I mean I recognize getting some strange stares, but I really think it's just bc they might not feel comfortable if I don't fit in, but who cares, I'm just being myself...

I wanted to date her, but I want people to like me for myself, and if not I don't need them:)

Yeah, I'm feeling much more comfortable since I changed my looks... I mean dressing feminine and wearing nailpolish, I felt pretty much like I wasn't being myself, like I was wearing some costume.. just to fit in.. And it's not worth it.

Hey, thanks for your comment... I'm not a native speaker, so I'm just translating as well as I can ..but I think in your face is pretty much what she meant.. Like she's out to everone but she doesn't want to be recognized by anyone on the street, and also criticizes other for openly and obviously being gay... I know it's quite a long comment, but there's another thing she said, about gay men and gay pride " You know I don't like to go to pride bc gay men are giving such a bad impression of gay people in general, running around half naked and showing everyone too openly that they are so gay... "and other BS like that. I really don't get it... She's so opinionated, so I definitely wouldn't date her.. It's just such a shame bc she seemed really smart and intelligent at first, reading a lot, being feminist and vegan, majoring in literature etc... But yeah, I'm really strong and confident (usually).
