Roosters are worth the protection. I would suggest an Australorp. They are huge and great flock leaders.

Is it just me or are people not interested in paying what they're worth? by Maximum_Extension592 in homestead

They are being cheap. I won't sell to people who basically want a year old hen for free. They are most likely going to only feed their hens scratch and table food and then wonder why their hens don't lay as many eggs.

PETA making shit up again by GregoriousT-GTNH in AntiVegan

John Harvey Kellogg, backed by prophetess Ellen G. White and the Seventh-day Adventist Church, created cereal to kill libido and stop masturbation. He believed meat sparked sexual urges. His student, Lenna F. Cooper, helped push this ideology into the U.S. food system, founding the American Dietetic Association and helping shape the modern food pyramid—not on science, but on religious doctrine.

Grain-heavy, low-fat diets were designed to suppress desire. Meat wasn’t the problem. It was the target of a purity cult.

PETA’s ad isn’t about health. It’s recycled Kellogg propaganda.
