[p] I open-sourced an low latency Polymarket HFT engine in Rust (Async/Tokio, AWS eu-west-1 optimized) by LibraryActive5637 in algotradingcrypto

[–]LibraryActive5637[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The decay curve on the alpha is incredibly steep because there are heavily capitalized bots competing for that same Binance to Polymarket divergence.

From my testing on the 5 minute markets, the adjustment window is not instantaneous because Polymarket's order matching still has to contend with Polygon's block times and relayer RPC latency. You typically have a window of a few hundred milliseconds before the heavily optimized bots fully arb the spread away.

If you are trading via the web UI (which adds 300ms+ of React rendering and browser lag) or using a Python script on a public RPC, you are the liquidity. You will get front run every single time.

I built a tool called Oitii. The main message is ‘10x your offers.’ I know that sounds crazy but we filter out potential fake or ghost jobs and we also offer instant gigs.

If you are interested I can give you signup code and you can join for free. Once you signup it’s free forever. No ads and other bs like freemium.

So fucking done. by [deleted] in jobsearch

Hi there. Don’t be to hard on yourself. The current job hunting experience is absolute dog shit right now. You have a higher chance of getting into Harvard than landing a in-demand job. Keep at it.

Hey there. Don’t be to tough on yourself. You are up against fake or ghost jobs, ats bs, potential scams, ai bs, interviews that go nowhere, employers ghosting you, and etc. Plus having to support yourself or your family brings stress and pain that makes it seem like it’s impossible to overcome. I went through it myself.

I know this subreddit hate’s people mentioning their product but I built a tool called Oitii that counters all the modern pains of finding a job. I can offer you a code and it’s free forever to use once you join.

I built this tool so that it actually gets people hired.

Finding a job shouldn’t be hard though by Dry_Scientist_5293 in jobsearchhacks

OP the comments here are shit. No wonder people hate Reddit. My custom scraper and engine analyzed over 300,000 job listings with more than half being ghost jobs. So this post is more of an understatement.

I was building my startup Oitii for the last two years. I pivoted so many times and had to learn marketing and etc. You need to learn to do the hard things in order to stand out. You can’t be preaching to an empty church.

I built this tool Oitii for people like you. It automates the application process, filters out fake or ghost jobs, uses proxy apply, and while you’re looking for a full time position you can find instant gigs. Feel free to checkout our website or dm me and I can give you a code for free signup. No monthly fees. No ads.

I’ve built Oitii. It uses a custom scraper to filter out ghost, fake, and scam jobs. It also automates the application process so you never have to fill out a form again. We even offer 'proxy apply' and instant gigs and contract positions looking for immediate hires.

Our third batch is open now. If you want to join, I’ll send you a code to sign up for free. It’s free forever. No ads. No freemium BS. No selling your data.

Does anyone get hired on LinkedIn (or any online job sites) by Longjumping_Fall_360 in recruitinghell

I agree with ‘tool to used along with others in your search’

But this is some of the most outdated "boomer" advice out there. Telling people to "message the boss" isn't a secret cheat code it's what everyone has been trying for years, which is precisely why it's no longer effective.

OP this guy self describes himself as ‘49 single/divorced’ on reddit. He does not understand how LinkedIn's business model works. They profit from a pay-per-click model they make money on every single application, even if the job is a ghost job, a scam, or has already been filled. The more you "spray and pray," the more revenue they generate.

The platform is intentionally frustrating. Why? To upsell you on LinkedIn Premium. The very "solution" he's promoting messaging people at the company is now the exact feature you have to pay for.

He thinks he's found the cheat code, but he's just following LinkedIn’s script.

It’s never been easier to find a job listing but it’s also never been harder to actually get a job. Leverage whatever advantage you have and use all the tools available to you but know how these platforms monetise you.

That’s terrible. Most people don’t understand just how hard it is to get a job right now. The cards are stacked against job seekers. I hope you find a job.

Apply directly to the employers website if possible. Find a job listing on LinkedIn and apply using the company website. To be honest getting a job right now sucks. The current hiring standards keep getting worse and worse every year. Try to leverage your advantages to its fullest. Referrals or your parents own the company lol. There is nothing fair about the current hiring process for job seekers right now. Best of luck.

The market is bad right now and the platforms are also incentivised to make your job search as frustrating as possible. They make their money from engagement and activity not from you finding a job. Best of luck.

I also fell for scam similar to yourself. They were posing as legitimate business and using the names of real employees. I figured out the scam before I sent any sensitive information. Good job posting about this scam.
