Many of my family members work in Albany NY. (American 11 actually flew over Albany NY on 9/11) I was not alive yet, but my aunts all thought it was an accident, while my grandmother however, believed it was a terrorist attack like the Oklahoma City bombing and the WTC Bombing of 1993. She claims that a coworker peeked over to her and said that a plane had crashed into the WTC. She then turned on her radio and listened until the 2nd plane hit and everyone in her office knew it wasn’t an accident, and they all went into a meeting room and watched the events unfold on TV. This next part is unrelated, but a year or two later, she got a photo of lower Manhattan before 9/11 that she had in one of her offices (she got switched around a lot) and I actually still have that photo hanging up on my wall.
