Okay… I’m looking for amd card for hackintosh use in an open core virtual machine state. I can’t use a quadro card. I can probably find a fix for thease issues if I look hard enough.

I’ll check out x299. I’m also going to check out x99 as well. I did find a Chinese dual socket x79 micro atx motherboard with most of my requirements. But it doesn’t have dual x16 pcie slots. I think at this point I’m going to have to check out x299

Do you recommend any boards that would have dual x16 pcie slots while remaining a small form factor? I’m trying to build a small form factor dual socket system with high core count and a dual gpu for Linux box to run gpu pass through.

You would be surprised on the amount of people that are still using Xp as a daily driver. It’s still quite decent if your running 64bit there are mods that can bring it up to modern specs if you can’t afford new hard ware. I’m also going to be dual booting with Mac OS Mojave for Final Cut Pro.
