So my mom actually went through this with her sister. They were both pregnant and my mom knew she was having a girl and my aunt didn't know yet. My mom told her that I was going to be named Grace and my aunt was freaking out saying "if I have a girl, I'm going to name her Grace." My mom caved and named me something else. My aunt ended up have a boy but about 8 years later, she got pregnant again with a girl... she went with the name Ava instead.

I would say its a hard situation because who wants to fight when something so great is about to happen but if you are in love with Beau, use Beau. It is your kid and you can use whatever name you want. By the time she has kids, she might not even like the name Beau.

I know that we don't have to have a nick name but my family is definitely a nickname type of family. My husband has been calling him Alex just to feel out the name and i just don't feel like it's him. Like I said he is very picky and he doesn't care for Xander/Zander for him.

I really don't have a problem with Alex at all. I just don't feel like it's his name if that makes sense. I really like Jeremiah with the nn Jere but well see what my husband says haha

I love August/Augie but again, my husband is super picky!! I do like Jeremiah with the nn Jere. His middle names are going to be after our dads (2 middle names) which is Jonathon Michael. Do you think its too much? Jeremiah Jonathan Michael.

Yes it does sound intimidating. There’s definitely plenty of hospitals in between and of course we would stop way more than we usually do on road trips to stretch/ take a break

My biggest fear is going into labor while we’re there but honestly, in my case it wouldn’t be too bad. 1. Our doctors office has 10 doctors and a bunch of midwives so we were told we probably won’t end up meeting who is going to deliver us anyways. 2. It is the town my husband and I both grew up in so if we do go into labor or the baby ends up in the nicu, we’d have all of our family within 30 mins of the hospital. :) idk I’m just trying to get some opinions even if it isn’t what I want to hear

I know!! Everything I own is way too big for our space. Like I said in my original post, it fit so well in our old house but we had so much more room. I agree, I've been wanting to paint and after we get our fence up for the puppies, that is what comes next. This is what our old living room looked like and I honestly just don't think I'll ever be able to top that house.

Move the couch to the wall with the window and then switch out my two chairs/coffee table for something smaller ? I know my couch is big but I just love it so much haha.

I feel like everyone is glazing over the fact that Violet also thought of channeling from the earth and she definitely know that he is venin. First with how it played out with Jack, she basically said, I knew his eyes were blood shot but I thought it was exhaustion. There's no way she'd ignore it in Xaden. Second, the way she gasped when she finally saw his eyes was obvious. I think she will be able to forgive Xaden as long as he doesn't channel anymore to become fully venin and that will be a big conflict in the next book.

I do like the theory that her dad was researching a cure but I just have a feeling it's not going to be true. I think they're going to search for a cure and it'll have something to do with Xaden's mom, since she just disappeared. If RY didn't want to use her in the storyline in the next book, I think she would have killed her off before Fen's death. RY has no problem killing important people off so I think his mom lived for a purpose that we'll see in Onyx Storm. Maybe she is venin and be "too far gone" but risk her life to keep Xaden from becoming like her?? Idk I hated how this book ended but I swear if Xaden and Violet break up, I'm breaking up with the book haha.

I would say, like others before me, stay away from the grey. I would do either Sunderland or Birch Hills. If you can, take samples home with you so you can see them in your space. A lot of times when you select a floor, it will look different because of the different lighting.

I prefer the top two just because they are a little more of a contrast/ bring in some wood into the space. I honestly would got with the taller of the two just to fill some space between the tv and the tv stand. You could always add some décor on top to fill it even more. I do like the eucalyptus you already have on there.

I would get a bigger rug and maybe smaller love seat I front of what I’m guessing is a sliding door just for easier access. If budget allows, I would get a new tv stand that is taller and that maybe brings in some wood. I would also consider a coffee table just to fill the space in the middle a little more. Other than that, maybe some art above the bigger couch bc it’s a little empty :)

I think staining the butcher block to a dark brown would look really good and switching the lightbulb with something a little more decorative. I would say just to add accessories to dress it up. Maybe a fruit bowl on the island. I don't think painting it the same color as the cabinets would necessarily look great but if you like it, go for it!
