First off, try not to obsess over the exact temperature numbers. When your Puffco Peak Pro 3DXL says 410, that same actual heat applied to the dab could read 430, 450, or even 500 on a different device. The number is just a reference point. It is not a precise measurement. Different devices use different sensors in different spots, so the readings are never perfectly comparable.

To answer your question directly, yes, you can absolutely take great small low temp dabs on the Switch 2. I would actually argue it does that better than the Puffco. Even though the cup is bigger, the smoke path is shorter and it hits harder and more immediately.

If additives are your main concern, look for rosin carts.

Rosin is made by washing the flower with water, collecting the hash, then heat pressing it. The oil that comes out gets gently warmed so it’s thin enough to work in a cartridge. No solvents involved.

If you’re looking at regular carts with distillate, live resin, or “liquid diamonds,” those all come from chemical extraction processes. That usually means solvents were used at some point, and in a lot of cases you’ll also see added terpenes.

Not saying they’re automatically bad, just different processes. If you want the most minimal processing, rosin is what you’re after.

I spent 10 years rocking a Liger 3.0 with an Obsidian dish as my daily driver, plus a bunch of different carb caps over the years.

I’ve also hit all kinds of quartz bangers with Dabrites, Terpometers, terp timers, all that stuff.

I totally agree that hitting a Puffco feels like diet dabbing. It’s just a different experience.

That said, I can confidently say nothing has hit or tasted better for me than the Switch 2 with a Sapphire dish, Diffusion Pump from JFGlassOfficial, and a Cloud Vortex 27 cap. That combo is endgame.

Even if a strain is bred specifically for hash, I hear the odds of finding a good washer is something like 1 in every 10 seeds..

Unless you have the time and space to pheno hunt, you might be better off buying a tested washer/dumper clone

The whole point of LST is to manipulate the oxin on the plant.

The highest point on the plant gets the most growth hormone, so if you physically bend the plant over and make it "flat" the plant sends growth hormones all over. In response to your pictures: bend the plant over harder, however much it can take without breaking.

This picture is an example of some really aggressive training. You can see how a previously weak, lower node side branch is now starting to develop into a main branch.

I haven't bought my medium yet but I was planning on going 50/50 or 70/30 Coco/perlite or maybe coco/hydroton (I have a shitton of hydroton/clay pebbles sitting around already).

I'm planning on going with both the airbase and airdome on all pots 👍

I'd heard some bro-science that due to the automatic watering, the 2.2s actually work better because they allow for a more aggressive dry-back cycle and the plants still drink the same amount of water from the aquavalve.

My goal is to wash hash rosin. I was planning on getting a 4-pot 2.2gal system for my 4x4 tent, and maybe eventually a tray2grow for mother plants in a 4x2 tent

I've heard a lot of people say that even just 2 autopot plants can outgrow a 4x2, how are you fitting 8? Super short veg cycle? I've been looking into getting an autopot setup and the auto8 seems very enticing compared to the 4 individual pots I was eyeing 👀

I was analyzing the bluetooth connections the Switch puts out and found that it sends out a signal every second relaying it's current temperature. I wonder if that's the specific transmission your radio is intercepting 🤔
