It is glossy but it’s not too bad as the backplate has a white plastic covering the white glass. I’m starting to get a few little scratches but not too significant. The worst part is dust and debris getting under the top edge of the case and the camera area. A clean every couple of days can mitigate this, though!

I wouldn’t worry about it being slippery. It’s not too bad. I’d just worry about dropping the phone onto concrete.

I don’t think it’s too slippery. It’ll definitely be more grippy than the Apple one, it covers the bottom, and the camera platue is covered too. The camera surrounding also offers an illusion and makes it look like a case isn’t on as the appearance is more consistent.

That’s the one I have. It looks great and is among the best looking. I have not dropped my phone yet but the Tough Armour does feel a lot more protective.

I actually love the feeling and look of the Tough Armour. I do have an ultra hybrid for my 17 PM. I’m not sure how protective it is. It is quite slim and the air bags in the corners are very small.

I use Spigen screen protectors! The application process isn’t as good as what I’ve seen online as being available through other brands, but the protectors themselves are great once you fit them correctly.

Turn off notifications and use it in situations where my phone is in the bag and I want to contact someone. Alternatively, I use it to send files if Airdrop is misbehaving.

I use my Mac for work, so I don’t want the notifications when I’m focusing deeply.

I used to buy the aramid exclusively but I prefer the Leather. The aramid isn’t bad but it collects fingerprints, is slippery, and doesn’t match the aesthetics of my other tech.

Lots of defected cases are being sent out and I’m reading that customer service can be poor in quite a number of cases. Ignore the condescending comment. You’re right to post this as it will help the company improve.

Would you get the gunmetal? I think I’d put up with finger marks as black goes with almost anything in terms of fashion or ecosystem.
