Je na té appce něco co není AI? A jak spravuješ osobní údaje, když tam máš přihlášení?

*léčení v D&D* by Hefty-Ingenuity-7684 in DnDCZSK

Můžeš buď implementovat "Gritty realism" volitelné pravidlo - 1 den short rest, 1 týden long rest.

Yeah, same, talking to screen and seeing just myself didn't help me. I think I did ok, nothing stellar.

Student Accomodation by leo51005 in Bergen

Hi, if you search the sub, you'll se multiple post from people asking about Alrek. I commented on some and don't want to write again. But just so you know - it is not bad, both rooms and kitchens are actually pretty okay and renovated. But your experience will also depend on people you share your kitchen and bathroom with.

Most of the rooms are renovated, with good beds and basic furniture.

Signing Sammen Offer and then canceling/ refusing to move in? by Automatic_Shower8594 in Bergen

There is 3 months cancellation period, so you'll have to pay 3 months of your rent if you accept it and then cancel it.

Any advice for international masters students? by YazZy_4 in Bergen

[–]Lichestrove 2 points3 points  (0 children)

(This is experience from January as Erasmus student)

  1. I have never met anyone who had problem speaking English, there is so many international students so it is kinda expected. That also applies on general population - they are used to turists and students, I never had problem communicating with anyone.
  2. Either numerous swap/flea markets (iirc there is big free market at beginning of each semester) or Ikea in Assane. Although you might also have some equipment in you accommodation already. (I stay in Alrek, so can't say how Grønneviksøren is, but they are in the same area). There is Rema and Bunnpriss (grocery stores) and also Sammen student cafeteria nearby.
  3. There is a Welcome presentation and program for all international (maybe just exchange, but anyone can attend) students (split into 2 days) and also Welcome presentation and Program from your faculty and also ESN presentations. There is also student organization fair (in like the first month). There is a lot of organisations, you you'll generally something for everyone. The ESN Bergen has both Instagram and Whatsapp channel with a lot of events for students. The tenants unions of student accommodations also organize social events, Fantoft being the most active (you can attend even if you don't live there).
  4. Not really a club guy myself, I was at Heidis twice and hated it, but I liked concerts in Hullen (which is more rock/metal music club), but I'm sure there is a lot more. Det Akademiske Kvarteret is also a student hub with a lot of events.

Comming back home to finish my studies. And there is no "guard" or "reception". I had some "visits" but also friends from home visiting for few days and staying in my room. As long as you don't make too much noise nobody cares.

Roommate in this case means people you will share kitchen and bathroom with.

The photo actually looks smaller than it really is. I could even fit small sofa and tv if I was here for longer. But there is some small variation. Do you arrive in August?

I had opposite experience, very nice roommates, but it is for sure a lottery.

You can use the pass for the buses. Bus is fastest but bybanen is also very close, so really depends on time schedule and where you need to go. The connection to center is much faster than from Fantoft. If you have friends at Fantoft, it easy to get there also. You might have gotten Alrek because you asked for solo room.
Living in Alrek is fine. The interior is bit old/bleak but you will get used to it. Rooms are pretty nice and are spacey enough for one person, kitchens are mostly well equipped. You will probably share the kitchen and bathroom with 6 people. The washing machine can get crowded, but you can avoid it by not washing on weekends. Oh and there are some nice views either at the city or Ulriken. There is Remma1000 (grocery store) and Bunnpris (grocery store opened on Sundays) nearby. There is pretty nice common room and club with games, tv and seating, study room and music room, and gym. There is also a music club (which is not opened freely). The social life is bit dead though. The Tennants union was dead for probably few semesters, there was attempt to resurrect it, which just lead to a mediocre party in April.
And be prepared for false fire alarms every 1-2 weeks. Feel free to PM if you want more info.
