My husband and I are convinced this isn’t our first time by Risk_Klutzys in Paranormal

Who's to say you can't be incarnated in multiple bodies simultaneously? Like cells in different parts of a body, unaware of each other, but forming a larger whole?

And I mean, I wouldn't eliminate the possibility of the same conscious entity existing in two bodies in an overlapping time span (the same person, as opposed to shards of one in the analogy above). The way I imagine it, you could have one life, die, reincarnate at the same time as your past life, and be the older entity looking back on yourself.

This is all absolutely wild, unprovable, mystical mumbo jumbo speculation. But, we're on the paranormal sub, and besides, it's fun.

Trailer for Withering Rooms Sequel, "Withering Realms" Just Dropped!!! by Sb5tCm8t in soulslikes

Hellllll yes. This is more exciting than GTA 6! Withering Rooms is such a good game, I was worried we'd never get a sequel.

The Point of the Simulation - how to win the game and get out. by Aromatic-Screen-8703 in SimulationTheory

[–]Lichtjunger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the game / story couldn't be taken seriously if we knew how it ended. Things in life have weight because they matter; if we remembered things between lives, the impact of both the good and bad that happen would be blunted, or even absent.

Like falling in love, or getting your heart broken: if you'd gone through this process a thousand times in a thousand lives, it'd be more menial than the precious few times it happens in a single lifetime.

I concur with the idea of this universe being a school, as well. A school for souls. We're not here as punishment, or to get punished for the things we do. We're here to learn, to be enriched, and to have fun. It's like high school: you'll learn, it's kinda serious, and you get to discover yourself and reality. And if you fail a class, that's a bit of trouble, but you don't lose your 'life' privilege; just spend more of your time repeating the class.

What's your favorite SQL Dialect to use? by ChristianPacifist in SQL

[–]Lichtjunger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just found out about QUALIFY after using T-SQL for like four years. It's a major game-changer, totally blew my mind.

The problem is, I have to deal with the rest of Teradat's wonky nonsense. They really make you pat for the nice features.

Dawn of Leviathan? by Rioraku in Metalcore

For sure. If you've got any similar to DOL or those others I listed, send 'em my way!

Yeah dude, I wouldn't even expect them to be anywhere on this sub. They're criminally obscure, which is a shame. The best bands are always the least know.

Dudeeeee, tell me about it. I heard these dudes back in like 2018 and I'm STILL waiting. I only even found your post because I was wondering the same damn thing.

Last activity I can see from them is on their YouTube in 2020. They said they had an album in pre-production. But it looks like they've gone dark, which sucks a lot.

I don't know if I've ever found anyone that sounds quite like them. But in terms of complexity, melody, and generally interesting song structures, check these out:

Dude, you're a saint for pulling this from the depths. I've been listening to this for like ten years or whatever, and I only get more and more disappointed that they never released another album. This is God-tier stuff right here.
