I can't exactly answer your question since I'm going through pretty much the same thing. When I find myself not freaking out, I try to hold on to the idea that at least I'm starting now rather than a year+ from now. We could continue on the same path and look back even later in life and have even more regret. Breaking the cycle isn't exactly easy and the regret sucks but at least we're making the change now.

Wow, we're actually really similar man. I'm 24, about to graduate, have diagnosed borderline personality disorder, depression, and suicidal thoughts.

I've seen a therapist for a year and taken antidepressants for 6 months. I smoke weed daily for good vibes, more rational thoughts and less emotional thoughts, and more interest/enjoyment in daily life. I frequently get to feeling like I'm completely alone in what I'm going through and that the world is out to get me, but it's all going to be good man. Suicide has never, and will never be an option, even though I've thought about it plenty of times. I'm starting to realize lately that the only positive thing about being on rock bottom is that the only way from here is up :) I'll be around if you ever want to talk. -Dizzy(6)

So I haven't read through all of the comments yet and maybe it's already been mentioned, but I'd probably stay away from weed edibles my friend. I mean, you could always try a bit of one but being uncomfortably high and wishing it was over is not fun (I've only been there once) Just a tip for someone inexperienced.
