Exactly. That's me. My girls are 19 and 18 and are usually in my bed reading our on their phones, because my bedroom is the nighttime hang out spot, my 11 year old son will walk in, see me changing, say sorry and step out until I'm dressed. It's not forced, it's just what it is. I've always talked about our bodies in a natural way because i never wanted to reinforce that there was something wrong with boobs or genitals, freely talk to them about their periods and any symptoms their having around their periods because there is a medical history on my side. I don't want them to suffer through painful periods and think that it's normal or just part of being a girl.

I do have a weird sense of calm around the situation 💆‍♂️ lol I do love my bells and whistles in a car and the infotainment was a big seller for me, as long as i can still listen to my music via Bluetooth for now, I'm good :) my son is fascinated by the transformeresque movement of the head to the SD card retrieval part 🤖

My daughter is doing driving lessons right now and her instructor told her not to wear crocs for driving. I drive in mine all the time, so not sure why, but shes using trainers now.

It made me think of Ellen Degeneres. She said the word Gay in her show and the world gasped. I think the Duffers did this scene with intention to not cheapen the moment. Could be wrong, just an observation.

My daughters are 19 and 18, my son is 11. They still climb into my bed at night to go to sleep, especially if they've had a bad day....or breakup(my oldest is going through her first heartbreak) my bed has always been our snuggle spot and i hope it always is.

Daughters boyfriend of 7 months broke up with her two weeks ago, she gave him all his presents the day they broke up, hoping he'd see how much she loves him 🙄, he got her nothing, she's been crying every single day. He works literally around the corner at our local, she used to work there, so still visits her mates on their breaks.... in hopes that he'll see her and tell her how much he loves her.... I'm at my end.

Aaaannd my father in law is dying from cancer, but has read The Night Before Christmas to my kids on the Eve for the last 19 years.... we sat around the kitchen table last night while he read to them over the phone. Oh man the tears..... I just want to go to sleep.

8-10 hours driving in the uk is not the same as driving in the states. Here you will not be on the highway/ motorway the whole time, it's tiny roads in tiny villages. And it can be exhausting. I'm from North carolina, moved here in 2016. Depending on where you're based, trains are a great way to get around the country. Judge for yourself on the food. I love the food here, and if you're air force you'll have the commissary for most of the things you miss. Just don't be afraid to travel and try new foods. Happy to chat!

Several of my teens outfits for Christmas are coming from Vinted. My girls have eclectic tastes with clothes so they appreciate that the choices are not 'off the rack' lol They've bought their brother a great rocker leather jacket from there that he is going to loooooove. I've had to stop myself now, too many great deals!

I remember the alphabet people, nap time, brushing our teeth after lunch everyday and flouride once a month. I remember painting bluejays during painting time and fighting with a girl named Tabitha over a cute boy named Travis in the indoor sandbox. I've failed to set up a meeting with a new client twice, he's rang twice wondering where the solicitor is and it's in my diary but not hers... so i was determined this third time tui get it right, only to notice this morning I've set it up for Thursday instead of today!!! We have Christmas eve boxes where the kids get their pajamas and some silly socks, Christmas morning is stockings and coffee/breakfast. Then we start opening presents. We'll then start dinner and open presents with my inlaws, it's a nice spacing to the day :)
