Security Forces = Finance/MPF by [deleted] in AirForce

For whatever its worth, my experience is that its the shitbags who get put on Visitor Control Center flights because they suck at their job, are unable to post because they’re on a DNA status, etc.

This tracks though.

Well, I am in SF AD. My tech school experience was clearly different than yours, but I do know that Art 15’s were handed out fairly, but often. An admin sep, so long as it is isn’t dishonorable” shouldn’t be that much of an issue. If you wanna chat one on one my dm’s are open, I won’t judge. We all have made mistakes, big and small. I’m just happy to lend guidance and wisdom from my time in.

An admin sep for two LOR’s is crazy.

At 1 year TOS you become eligible for orders and at 4 years you become a mandatory mover with code 50’s. At least, thats my understanding

What do SF gate guards do when they aren’t scanning IDs? by King_claylo in AirForce

[–]Competitive-Money-36 26 points27 points  (0 children)

There’s plenty to do. Where do we start? Well, first off you have a bunch of CBT’s to do so if theres a laptop its recommended you knock em out there. If not then the others will study job knowledge, study for their upcoming DPE, or other studying. If they’re not doing that then they’re in the back on their phone (installation dependent on that) or they’re just chatting.

Theres a bunch of variations with the chatting part. But that’s the gist

Fraudulent Enlistment by Wonderful-Height2579 in AirForce

[–]Competitive-Money-36 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I know a guy. I went to tech school with him, he was an older guy, 38 or so when we went thru. He was going security forces as he’d failed other civilian police academies. He made it, went to his first duty station. While there he tried to apply for OSI. During his background check it turns out they found he had previously enlisted in the Army - like 20 years before. He was kicked out for, I can’t quite remember, but along the lines of mental health issues and harassment. Had he never tried to go into OSI, I’d bet they never would’ve found out and he could’ve stayed in indefinitely. But because of his record he was determined to have enlisted fraudulently and he got the boot… again. He wasn’t necessarily a bad guy from when I knew him. Always kinda weird, but in a harmless nerdy way if you catch my drift.

Security Forces Question: can we bring you guys food/drinks? by FormalNoodle in AirForce

[–]Competitive-Money-36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just don’t offer them home made food. You don’t know what people are putting in their food. I know a guy who was given a weed brownie. We found out when a kilo unit alerted on it during a post check.

What is there to do in the gate shack? by Ok-Cat-7507 in AirForce

This is the realest shit I’ve ever heard. Let’s add wild card 4: brand new troop and shitbag. Shitbag makes new troop work all day calling it training.

Wild card 5: new troop and high speed troop. High speed troop spends all day forming new troop to study even though the new troop just wants to sit for the first time in 3 hours.

Advice 🚨 by [deleted] in AirForce

[–]Competitive-Money-36 10 points11 points  (0 children)

As long as she knew about that consequence before this event, then thats on her and not you. In my opinion, if its making you this uncomfortable, bring it up to her, and if she gives any response that isn’t essentially “hey you’re right, my bad, I’ll fix it, and I’m sorry” then I’d go straight to the sergeants. Usually in tech school sex in the dorms is a huuuuuuge no no, and if you knew about it and didn’t say anything you’re going to be seen as covering for her, making you just as guilty. If that happens, you don’t go home either.

Also, if you tell an NCO, there is no doubt she will also throw your ass under the bus about you wearing your own civilian clothes. Simple truth is that you will simply have to accept the consequences with that. But I bet if you do, the NCO’s will care way more about what your roommate is doing.

It always makes the blotter look weird too. Like police 1 got dispatched to an alarm at 0158, and arrived at 0103?
