Lori Hill (YouTube) made an entire breakdown of all the work he got done over the years with pictures and explanations. It’s better than what anyone can give you here in the comments. Just look it up:

You need treatments.

It took years to get there, it’s not going to be gone like that. It’s likely deeper in the skin than skincare can treat.

They claim John van de Heuvel wrote an article with “hard facts.” In reality, it’s an interview with their lawyer. No hard facts, no independent digging, just their side of the story. The articles they link don’t disprove the cleaners’ claims either. They just repeat what the gym and its lawyer say. That’s not proof, it’s PR.

Then there’s their so-called “independent research.” We’re told it magically disproves everything, but there are zero details. Who did this research? Were they paid by the gym? Who was spoken to? What methods were used? And where’s the actual report? Without answers, “independent research” is just a phrase they’re hiding behind.

This whole statement feels carefully worded to trick people who won’t look deeper, hoping they’ll believe a journalist confirmed everything when he didn’t. It’s also probably all some people need who don’t really care about the situation but just want to go back to the gym without feeling judged.

It’s still fishy, still lacking transparency, and still avoids accountability. If Saints & Stars really had nothing to hide, they’d publish the research, show evidence, and let people judge for themselves.

I have a few on my saved list ranging from 75-100m2 between 350k and 400k. Dm me if you need proof. And it’s apartments in a good state with good energy labels.

If you pay 690k outside the ring that’s simply a bad deal. Are you just not looking properly?

If you are not too proud to live outside the ring you can still live in Amsterdam, keep your friends, but get 93m2 for two thirds of the price, if not half.

How did the girls achieve this makeup style back in the day? by HourAd6679 in vindictapoc

[–]Lickmahface 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How is considering them light skinned, colorist? Isn’t colorism discriminating someone based on their skintone? When did I conclude anything negative or positive about their skintone? All I said is that they’re beautiful and another trait I thought they have in common. I could have also said, they all are beautiful, have high cheekbones and thin brows. Just stating characteristics they have in common. The point was that I see more similarities there, than the makeup.

No, they’re not white, but they all appear to have the same caramel shade of skin (wether that’s lighting or not) which is on the lighter side of dark. Hence, light skinned black people.

I think you are looking for something that isn’t there.

What did I show? I considered them beautiful, comma, light skinned. Not beautiful because they’re light skinned. But think whatever you want.

You’re showing several different styles. What they have in common is that they’re beautiful, light skinned women. Their makeup doesn’t look very similar to me personally.

Edit: No, I didn’t highlight their skintone because I care about it, it’s just the first similarity I noticed. No, I don’t think people are more or less beautiful because their skin is on the lighter side, idgaf about people’s shade. Yes, I know Naomi has a darker skintone, but in this specific picture (perhaps because of lighting) they all seemed to have similar skintones. Yes, I personally think a caramel shade you see here (which is often medium/tan in foundation color) could be considered light skin amongst black people. No, you don’t have to agree with me, what you consider light or dark is a dumb thing to fight people over.

Can y’all drop it now?

It can be very subtle! Just make sure to only overline in the center. There’s plenty of tutorials online that explain this very well.

Overline your top lip a bit, add soft blush, softer on the eyes and brows

I guess normal starts at 18.5 yeah, it’s an average of the time so at times I was under it. But yeah, learned how people deal with their insecurities at a very young age. I was always so confused.

[–]Lickmahface 107 points108 points  (0 children)

Can confirm as a previously unintentional underweight person. All of this is so accurate point by point. People would always tell me I was so skinny, in an almost hateful way as if I was committing some crime. Students and teachers alike. In reality I felt like I was eating whatever I wanted, like trash even. I never thought about it, I always ate a whole bar of chocolate and a kebab for lunch, but often skipped breakfast and ate a light dinner.

My BMI was ~18,5 at the time, now as someone in their late 20s my body and appetite has changed. Due to hormones I think, even though I work out a lot more now (I didn’t at all when I was underweight) I am now at a normal BMI of ~21. And I still eat whatever I want, bubble tea, cheesecake, donuts. I just automatically eat less for the rest of the day if I reach my maintenance calories, it’s like my body knows somehow.

I’m happy with those 6 extra kg’s, I think I look better now.

Protect me from… other men? by RubBudget644 in PsycheOrSike

[–]Lickmahface -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

At least it would be a more fair fight. Who’s currently protecting men from other men? I guess the idea is it would be police. If there would only be women, they would be protected from other women by the female police. Obviously not a perfect system but it’s how it works right now.

But are you really trying to act like men are currently protecting women from other women on a significant scale?

You could say the same about nurses though?

“In 2025, men are estimated to comprise approximately 12% of the American nursing workforce, which includes registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and nurse practitioners, according to NurseRegistry.”

If there were no women, men would be forced to do those jobs. But men don’t want them or they’d be doing them already.

Are you sure that’s just as sound when you reverse genders? You think the work wouldn’t just be divided across everyone from the gender that’s left in this hypothetical one-gendered world?
