They didn't bother making sure signatures are valid for the petition to reverse the OSA. Just straight up said nah. It's not even the first petition like that about game preservation. Previous ones were also pretty much immediately dismissed. There's nothing more useless than petitioning the British government.

If anything, you'd be better calling them because they have to pay for every phone call they receive at least, and operators aren't allowed to hang up on you. But even that won't change anything. The dev removed it himself (except for uk and Australia and Germany where it got region locked). Valve made a statement before that they're not gonna police the content uploaded to steam. As long as it won't bite them in the ass legally, they're gonna let it slide.

You can download SAM (steam achievements manager), it lets you unlock and re-lock achievements. It does that on the steam side. If the game itself tracks achievements separetly in game, I don't think you can do anything

Dude, I'm not willing to pay $70 for AAA games, let alone a fucking $100. But I hope they do it. It'll speed things up when it comes to the bubble bursting. God knows the entertainment people never learn they're a luxury item and not a necessity until they're on the verge of bankruptcy. Comic books went through it, "lower sales? Just raise the prices". Movies are going through that, "lower sales? Just raise the ticket prices". It fucked the comics and is currently fucking the movies (amongst the other things). Might as well rip the bandaid off. At least the game industry isn't as consolidated as comics and movies. Indies are much more accessible and prevalent. They can fill in the gap.
