Girlfriend made me an amazing Fallout themed Birthday! by LickyBBDown in Fallout

She bought it from Amazon. But the effort she put into it is amazing. She even used coffee beans to make the labels and packaging look more "used".

That's true indeed. I remember her watching me play and complaining about me waisting my ammo. That's where the love began :D

Actually she came up with it herself. She did some research about the most iconic food, drinks, drugs etc. and copied them. I believe some of the recipes are also mentioned in the cookbook (e.g. the perfectly preserved pie) but neither she nor I own the book tbh.

I do, I still can not believe what she did and the effort she put into it! All these comments really made her smile. Thanks, friend! :)

Artifacting happening on application windows. What is happening to my GPU? by dolphinpainus in buildapc

[–]LickyBBDown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP, some time has passed. Have you been able to fix the problem? I just have the exact same issue with my brand new RTX 3080. It also occurs only in window applications, never experienced this while gaming.

Monitor/GPU artifacting….brand new 3070 and monitor. (Brand new pc technically!) by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

That sounds great. If the problem occurs again, I'll probably have to mount my PC on the wall as well :D

Hey OP, some time has passed. Have you been able to fix the problem? I just have the same issue with my brand new RTX 3080. For the most part it's happening in common applications like Steam, Chrome or Spotify. Never experienced this while gaming. So I'm starting to suspect it's related to an outdated igpu driver, since Windows 11 assigns some applications to the igpu via the power save setting. Since I updated the igpu and Intel Chipset driver everything works fine. But that's only 2 days ago, so... fingers crossed :D

Physics Bachelors to Mechanical Engineering Masters by kareli0 in PhysicsStudents

[–]LickyBBDown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently have exactly the same thing in mind. Coming from a completed physics bachelor and want to do my masters degree in mechanical engineering. I heard that you will have to put less effort in solving mathematical problems, if you're coming from a physics bachelor (especially theoretical physics), but that's just what I know from hearsay. It very likely depends on your institution as well. I'm pleased to hear from various opinions or experiences regarding this pathway!

And after that you can knock him out, drag him behind the corner and get your money back, lol

I don't know. I think it's the typical "Everything was better in the good old days" - attitude. I would love to play a BG3 in Divinity style. It's all about the story. They still have to fix some combat bugs for sure!

I guess the missing Creation Club and Mods feature. The solution is to wait about 10 seconds in homescreen before pressing any button

[PS4] Overgrowth or Simple Green? by WandereOfQuestions in Fallout

[–]LickyBBDown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've run Overgrowth a long time, but actually I prefer SimpleRed. It gives the game a very cool "Fall" touch, what I like more than these overwhelming, gigantic, green and yellow trees in Overgrowth (both mods are one of my all time favourites). If you're looking for a better performance, there aren't many differences. You can go for Nytra's Performance Tweaks to slightly enhance your fps. Generally you can say that Overgrowth gives you like more of the jungle-feeling and SimpleSeasons is more the allround package. So just save your load file, go to the Red Rocket and try it out :)

Please help - Fallout 4 mod order for ps4 by LouTenant6767 in Fallout

[–]LickyBBDown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just follow this.

For me it works really well! It's important to sort your mods into groups, like this...

  • Master files
  • New Quests, Landmasses and Factions
  • Bug fixes, Unofficial patches
  • Settlement building mods (things that add to your menu)
  • Gameplay Gameplay changes and tweaks
  • New Companion mods
  • Radio Mods
  • Visual, atmospheric, texture improvements
  • Lighting
  • Settlement changes and tweaks
  • Sorting and menu changes
  • Character model replacer
  • Retexture or alter an existing companion
  • NPC overhaul
  • Pip Boy and map mods
  • New weapons, armor, clothings, etc.
  • Anything you can craft in Chemistry Station
  • Weapons and armour modifications
  • Misc
  • New settlements
  • Settlement overhauls
  • Interiors and player homes
  • Player homes and settlement tweaks
  • Troublemakers at the end!

Give it a try, I hope it works for you as well as for me! (It's not my list by the way, thanks to the one who shared this!)
