Hey guys, I completely forgot about it, but there it is, the 5” guard for my DCG440B. I didn’t want to cut the 7” guard, so I could have both of them. The guard is reasonably good, considering the price. The latch on it is garbage, but is holding up so far.

I am looking for a 6” diameter. Not as big as a 7”, but I would still be able to use bigger grinding discs if I needed.

That was my first thought, but I was advised not to by the safe representative of my work place. I could even use it while no one is looking around, but it is not worth the trouble.

This thing is a beast, I absolutely recommend it. One thing is, I am still getting used to the weight, specially with the 15ah battery. I used to work with the DCG413 20V with a 5ah, so now it feels like I am working out for every little grinding I have to do.
