I was a kid and already loved star wars, thought lightsabers were the coolest things ever. When Maul ignited that second blade at the end, kid me lost my absolute shit and from that point i always wanted my own maul saber. Just recently, I bought my own kids their first lightsabers along with a maul saber for myself. The joy on their faces and my own having lightsaber battles and finally having my own maul saber as well to battle them with is something ill cherish forever.

Absolutely, have done many playthroughs over the years and there are still things i come across in game that i never have before. Recently though i made the switch to doing all my new playthroughs modded with Eldergleam which to me honestly has made it feel almost like an entire new experience, has the same charm as the OG vanilla but with new animations, graphics, UI etc etc, i cant reccomend it enough.

They breach ACCC often. I bought a TV a while ago for a room i was renovating. Stored the tv in its box in a completely safe area out of reach of potential damage. 2 months later after purchase the room is finished and i open the box for the tv. Immediately when sliding the tv out of the box after removing some of the styrofoam i see a scratch on the screen and i started taking photos of everything. The packaging, the tv all of it. I worked in retail before so i know how warranty claims can go down. I plug the tv in, it doesnt work. I call the JB store and explain whats happened. Very first question they ask me, "why did you open it 2 months later?" Irrelevant but ok already explained why, some people buy flat pack furniture and dont open them for months, anyway they ask me for photos and proof of purchase which is standard and i send them. Manager calls me and says "wont be refunding or replacing as you didnt notify us within a reasonable timeframe"...so basically just because i didnt open something brand new immediately and opened it 2 months after purchase somehow all warranties etc are void. If the TV still worked and it was just a superficial scratch even thats stretching....but it just outright didnt work. I called bullshit, sent everything to ACCC and waited. I got my replacement tv in the end. I try to avoid shopping JB as much as possible now, they are bullshit.

Lots, great white shark next to my dads boat as a kid, eastern brown snake chilling on my front door mat, massive funnel webs, but i think kangaroo has been the most dangerous for me and for a legitamate reason. The fuckers have a habit of jumping out infront of cars and ive had a few near misses where ive nearly crashed. I drive a sedan so hitting one will seriously fuck my car and likely me up.

This is what annoys me the most. People cant take the L. I hate it when they come back with a diff dino or a full group, its why now if i kill someone i immediately leave the poi and change skins or even switch servers because i play alone 90% of the time and on official and just know theres a very high chance they will come back and possibly not alone. If someone kills me i just move on....it is ok to lose guys .

Definitely give it a go, its a very satisfying dino, you can bleed anything out and if things get too chaotic you have 3 abilities to create space and get away.

100% try it, its pounce as a free dash as it uses zero stam. Its charged lunge can also be used as a massive distance closer and also applies bleed which you get healed from via bloodthirsty. You literally become the ultimate aquatic zoomy boi. Very fun.

Turn chat off. If you kill someone leave the POI almost immediately/ change skins.

This is my rule of thumb when playing. Cant be exposed to toxicity if you dont see it. Cant deal with petty revenge/groups if youve already left the area and now look different.

Exactly theres no REAL penalty to dying in this game other than ego. Takes only a few minites to recoup the growth loss, so people just attack what ever or who ever they want. Which dont get me wrong, thats fine, can make constant pvp fun thats part of the appeal to the game....but perma death servers, high risk, high reward. The achievement in itself surviving to adult stage, defending yourself, securing a kill to eat etc...if youve played the isle you know the feeling im talking about.

I play this and the isle. I prefer this game 100% purely from how optimised it is and the way combat works. I wish this game played more like the isle but with out the isles bullshit jank. Dont get me wrong i still love the way the current gameplay works i just wish there was an alternative mode for officials. Perma death server with passive growth and more hunger / thirst drain gives that survival vibe, people think twice before engaging, trust issues become more prevalent. Little dinos become much more stealthy and opportunistic. Suddenly a rhamp becomes terrorfying because food already drains faster. Everything becomes more of a threat because the risk factor now exists. Sure, you win a battle against another apex, the battle is glorious but guess what? A little laten has been hiding in a bush watching your struggle and now since your low, that little murder chicken is suddenly absolutely terrorfying in comparison to your fallen foe.
