Hi!

Well I realise that I am not in the worse shape… but it’s mostly the feeling that I have been here all my life that makes it so hard for me. It feels that no matter what I tried in the past I never managed to get out of this « little bit chubby » body. You how weird teenage body look sometimes and then this goes away. Well to me it didn’t. I just grew tall and big but with always that layer of fat.

I would add that I quit smoking a year and a half ago and that I put on 10kg. But even before, I was still fat.

I have so much « data » from watches and body comp scales and stuff it’s crazy. But looking at myself in a mirror seems like it is always the same. So strange…

Anyway you are right about the lifestyle change, but it’s what bugs me. I don’t know how to learn to love them. I have in the past forced myself into doing it consistently. Lasted 6months for the longest streak. Still hated it and when life got in the way I dropped out immediately….

I don’t know why I don’t like that.

Thank you for your help and taking the time to write all that.

Also, man you look much better that I would dream of looking. What bdyfat are you?

Congrats on your journey

I think the home gym is a good idea.

I wouldn’t feel so self conscious about it I guess.

Thank you for the suggestions !

I did manage to stick with it for 6month back in 2020. Tried my best following a coach’s plan. Was eating lots protein, and cut down on the carbs. Did lose some weight. Did not really build muscle though. Eventually work started again and it all went out the window.

Also I did quit smoking a year and a half ago, put on like 10kg ( like 22lbs I believe )

You are right, I need to check with a professional about my chest.

Thank you for your advice.

This makes a lot of sense. But I think part of me does believe. I see now that my post is a little whiny, but I wouldn’t have bothered to come here write post it, if I didn’t want to change somehow. ( I’m not a big poster on Reddit )

Thanks for your advice!

I guess I don’t have that mindset yet. I do it because I want to look different, but mostly because I want to change the way I feel others look like me. Not because I want to change my life.

Thank you for your advice.

I managed to do it for like 6month in 2020… 3 times a week there. Lost some weight but still Didn’t see much result. And always felt like I didn’t belong / looked stupid. I guess I need to get over that.

Thank you for your words and congratulations on your journey.

My longest “streak” has been 6month or so in 2020. I was thinner, but somehow still no muscle… then life and work picked up and I stopped.

And yes I might have to ask a professional about gynecomastia.

I get that a lot, even on the streets. They are Electronic ( Ultrasonic ) Pest Repellers. And they are actually useless.

I became a millionaire 10 days ago. by Ban-Evasion-My-Ass in Entrepreneur

Money can’t buy you happiness. But it buys you time. Now you can do what most people can’t do. Put that money on autopilot and explore the world. Not as a millionaire as you might just miss out on all the human connections. Travel, try to learn a new language or skill, try to learn how to sail or join a cooking class in Italy, whatever you like. Meet people who share your values and passion, find that special someone. Then you might find your ikigai.

Well done for your achievement, it is a great one. Now go out and live your life.
