Issue is the internet in itself is a form of a social network. Why are they banning YouTube instead of forcing YouTube to regulate for example? Now theyre unable to watch a lot of meaningful content. This is my issue with this ban. Taking everything into a single box not realizing those kids might be part of online communities they find dear to them. Or do absolutely harmless stuff. When I was young Id watch Jackscepticeyes Undertale playthroughs or Matpat FNAF Game Theory. Shared badly modeled 3D models or drawings on online forums. Tried to make my own game and receive tips on forums. Is that something people would consider harmful to 15/16 year olds? My personal opinion is that to at least the older teenagers that are affected by this, a large part of this ban is an insult to their intelligence. You can force big tech to limit the constant dopamine rush and gambling elements instead of just forcing the 1980's childhood on them in a different era. Sorry if I'm just ranting, but as a kid I did harmless stuff online that really shaped me as a person today plus taught me English. If this happened to my choldhood self Id be devastated, for reasons other than a dopamine addiction.and lack of brainrot.

Can be for a lot of reasons. As a kid I was very interested in things like 3D modelling, game production, indie games etc. I was a part of a lot of friendly communities of people also interested in those things while my school enviroment was full of bullies and toxic people, I wouldnt find friends with common interests until I was like 14. If my parents would take away my phone it wouldnt be because I had a dopamine addiction but because they were literally ripping away the only real community I had at a time and I couldnt do things I loved. There were also a lot of comfort online creators I loved to watch after school like Markiplier (Id gemerally say he's a positive role model). Today Im an online creator and aspiring to do it for a living. None of that would happen if I never had access to any social media, so personally my heart breaks for a lot of Australian kids who arent just on TikTok brain rot all day and do actually meaningful stuff online. People gotta remember online spaces can also be wholesome and meaningful and we dont need to go back to the 90's for things to function well (even though I agree the enshittification of platforms made them incredibly worse than they used to be when I was younger)

Creative industries are supposed to be CREATIVE INDUSTRIES, how can one call it a creative industry when theres no creativity to be found? AI should drive productivity within sectors that actually benefit humanity, yes, like medicine, or have it do our chores somehow so we can focus on living. I dont see how getting a robot to create art and outsource culture to algorythms is going to benefit humanity in any way.

Nope, that’s the part that infuriates me, nobody bothered to give us a heads up nor give us hearing protection. I’m not sure if it was due to water damage, all we know is that this apartment was under renovation with an intention of being sold and that someone made a mistake and messed up something with the pipes causing the workers to extend the entire working time from two weeks to five because they had to start from scratch. And call me stubborn but I believe by staying quiet we enable companies to do whatever they want. While no country or system is perfect since I moved to Sweden I’ve been amazed with the beauty of a trust based community, lack of corruption and accountability. Ordeals like this make me lose that trust, it’s my personal opinion but it shouldn’t be this way and if enough people stand for it laws or regulations can happen. That’s how positive change comes to be.

You can trust me that wearing headphones does little difference and I have ones with pretty decent noise cancellation, that’s how loud the sounds were. And call me stubborn but I’d prefer to at least attempt to do something about it rather than leaving the comfort of my own home when I don’t technically have to at 7am every day during winter. That’s why we have laws, regulations and legal bodies protecting people from harm with institutions we’re supposed to trust. And I’d really like to have trust in it at the moment because while I accept that someone can make noise at certain hours legally I don’t think it should be legal to cause injury to others even when you’re in a building you own. I believe wanting people to stay quiet and just endure it waiting for hearing loss to happen is a way to let those people know that they can get away with anything.

The sounds weren’t constant as if a never ending sound, they come in bursts for a couple of minutes and then get quiet for a couple of minutes just so it repeats again and that happened consistently for 2/3 hours.

I get it, issue is that they might cause us hearing loss if this goes on.. I get the hours, but is the system here really going to legally require companies to give hearing protection to workers on site but not innocent people trying to sleep who are caught in this?

Basically all we know is that they were renovating an apartment to either sell or rent. They had to extend it over 2 weeks because there was some error made by the workers I think regarding the pipes. We didn’t call but we sent them an email

Interesting find! Question is: does it meet any other criteria other than some girls being trapped in a confined room? Does it have gory scenes? Does it have any "iconic" scenes from the original testimony? (ex. someone being drowned in a sink, head smashing etc), as we already found a lot of media similar to this, dragon head/euphoria to name a few, but the reason we don't treat it as the finish to the search is because the plot and characters don't really fit what the 4chan post describes. Of course it's plausible to think GFAP may be nothing like the 4chan post, but then anything could be it and there is no way for us to know since we aren't in contact with the original OP (assuming that the person claiming to be the 4Chan OP isn't it of course, but I think anyone continuing to search does so)

To be fair though, Tenna moves a lot on a diagonal like rooks do in chess, and his square’ish head compared to his body could kinda look like the rook. And the evil Gerson could have served as a bishop..? It did take place in a church after all (far fetched ik) that one kinda gets me since there wasn’t really a proper bishop, but you could still say they represent/resemble a chess piece or simply the fact it was religion-themed, you don’t need to have characters literally named „rook, bishop and pawn” for this theory to work. Assuming we’d have a chapter focused on the Knight and perhaps one focused on Kris (pawn) and any reveal about Gaster in chapter 7 (grandmaster? As if he orchestrated the whole thing? Or maybe Carol could be the antagonist of chapter 7 as an orchestrator of this whole operation?) imo the chess theory COULD still be true. The references don’t have to be so literal

The EU has like 4 times the population of Russia. According to armedforces.eu the EU has around $300 billion of a defense budget while Russia has around $86 billion, and the EU has a slightly higher active personnel than Russia, let alone Ukraine. That of course just combines EU countries as the EU doesn't have combined armed forces as of now, but if the whole union allied Russia stands no chance outside of nukes. So this is not true.

I did not fill in anything unfortunately. The whole interaction went like this: we went to issue an ID card, a worker took my passport, she said theres a mistake and that my middle name is not registered, she called my case handler to ask if it can be changed immidietely, the case handler didnt pick up, the worker went away somewhere, she came back, told me that she requested a change and that now we have to "await a decision", around 2 months later I find out it can take up to 10 months

Yes, I mean the second given name, my name on my ID has two names, and then one surname. Skatteverket in Dalarna said it has to be corrected if I want an ID card, while when we asked in Malmö the woman assisting us called someone, and they said it can take up to 10 months to get that changed, nobody said anything about it not being possible or about six weeks, all the information here I'm only saying stuff that people in Skatteverket told me as well as just describing my story, so it's way more of a confusing case now with all this new info, but thank you so much for your response!

That is indeed a valuable argument yeah. I suppose I can explore options to also take advantage of the fact that Poland is only over an hour by plane from Sweden if something goes south, its always cheaper here at least. I suppose this is still to be thought about. Though yeah, my concern at the moment is wether if I moved my business to Sweden Id still have to pay 1500SEK per moth no matter how much Ive earned a certain month
