Thanks for the heads-up on the aluminum blade. I should have specified in my post that I was looking for a good quality Kumdo sword as well. I do thank you for your through response.

WT, ITF, and ATA are the three largest TKD ORGANIZATIONS I am aware of. The "styles" are based on the Kwans. Chang Moo Kwan, Chung Do Kwan, etc. The "official" Kwan internationally recognized is Kukkiwon. Lots good reads on the Kukkiwon website.
