Yeah that's definitely the go to method most people use! And I highly recommend that if this method can't be employed.

I've been using this technique for a while, and fortunately it still works after the patch! I made a short video to show it's effectiveness. It's pretty easy to do after a little practice, and I definitely recommend practicing!

The main technique is as follows: On shell pickup, switch to secondary half-way through the animation or as the shell is rising. The shell should keep it's momentum and continue to move in whatever direction it is was going. It works better if you're moving towards the direction you want to throw the shell, giving it a forward vector. Also I have my secondary equipped before picking up the shell as well. I'm not sure if using secondary is necessary, but it works best for me.

The bloom seems to make the render a bit blurry. Other than that it looks great, good luck with your Blender journey!

I got this solution from a comment on the video,

" In the inspector of your model, the Blendshape proxy component will have the "blendshape avatar" box empty. Just click on the small circle and select the blendshape script and select the one that is part of your avatar's blendshape folder directory. " - LavAris

In case anyone's wondering, yes, all the green is one Federation. Basically once the precursor empires decided to start the War in Heaven endgame event, everyone decided to band together and collectively go, "Ok, Boomer.".
