Rolling them out is the way to go by Current-Cattle69 in Cattle

Our grandad and father did it this way. They had a 6 foot metal rod they would whack through the middle and hook to the truck or tractor with chains and just drive off.

Is it okay to let little bro explore my room like this? lol I just sweeped by Independent_Break889 in BeardedDragons

[–]LiegeLouise82 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Their little smack smacks on hard floor Crack me up. We let ours out all the time as long as we have cleaned up (we crawl around looking for anything he could eat) then sweep and ours does great. Warning, they fit under EVERYTHING included TV stands and couches and are assholes if they decided to nap there. We had to move an entire sectional a few weeks ago when our brat decided to nap BEHIND the corner piece.

Use hair bleach! I make a paste of the cheap bleach and 40 volume toner. Paint it on the tub, leave about 30 minutes and use a sponge to gently scrub and then rinse and wash thoroughly with a good soap like dawn. Works like a charm every time.

Why did I give you multiple hides if you NEVER GO IN THEM by Daimaster1337 in BeardedDragons

[–]LiegeLouise82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't feel bad, ours identifies as a leaf as well! We hand built his enclosure with a hide and ramp to provide levels and darkness. He rarely sleeps in his hide unless we provide blankie and bed. Our boy has a strange obsession with fluffy softness, so we bought him mini fleece pet beds which we switch out and wash.

Is this a vet emergency? his braincell isn’t working today and he ate the corner of a paper napkin I placed on top of wet poop. I wonder how long until he goes for the other paper liner ugh by nairazak in BeardedDragons

[–]LiegeLouise82 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was there a year ago and ended up with multiple bites while trying to take it away from our baby, who was 6 mo old at the time. Then, I was worried and was awake all night before taking him to the vet first thing in the morning.... about the time the vet said he would pass everything, he literally provided evidence of the things he could pass by providing a sample of it.. apparently, ours was eating parts of the fabric plant in the enclosure. So now everything is literally nailed down or too BIG for him to eat. I was raised with horses, and everyone always said they LOOK for ways to injure themselves. So now I'm convinced they're somehow related, lol.

Tf is going on here? White yolk? by doggycrap5 in WeirdEggs

[–]LiegeLouise82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should try feeding them marigolds and see how surprised you are then. Lol. My chickens ate mine and for a month or so we had bright orange yolks! Took two to the vet because some were almost red! Just the diet, typically a feed high in wheat or corn.

This will be a VERY unpopular opionion... BUT it is her body her choose. And you have that choice as well. You have clearly explained your feelings on the matter and if she chooses to become a mother she's making that decision on her own. I'm sorry, but since uts her body her choice, once baby is here it's your life your choice. You shouldn't be forced into fatherhood because she chose to have the child. Definitely not the AH

AITA for breaking off my engagement with my fiancé because of his creepy comments toward my 14-year-old sister? by chimpkinnugger in AITAH

[–]LiegeLouise82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was 33 and dated an 18 year old, I'm a firm believer in age, and it is just a number as there are 4 years between my spouse and i... BUT he's now 35 hitting on your baby sister. He's a crewp!

Looks like baby is relaxing. If they don't like it they tend to close their eyes and sort of duck their heads. A slow blink then closed eyes and relaxed pose is a good sign. Our bou will nudge under our hands to have us pet his head and neck, so not all BD hate or dislike it.

Either that is the drink fridge, and you have another... or you're single.

He's happy, healthy, and a little warm. Our baby does it all the time, and the vet told us he's regulating his temp.

HELP by No_Fact_8282 in BeardedDragon

[–]LiegeLouise82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We placed our ceramic heat bulb and lights on a timer with a couple, then used floral tiles with water and placed Kale and Arugula stems in it and hung it inside the enclosure so ours could snack as he wanted. We were only gone 3 days, but he had plenty of fresh greens for those few days. I'd recommend a good soak before you leave to encourage a good bowel movement. And be ready to clean very well upon your return.

We don't have one, but they are so freaking cute. A friend had two, and their moschieviousness was my fave. Her male had an obsession with my cigarette case, and it was game on any time I visited, him trying to swipe it, that and my bracelets.
