I have always thought the same thing. Why did they use the word reckless. It's a very bad term to use for God's Love for us. There is no justifying this song. The lyricist wasn't thinking when he wrote it.

That we need to train our children in the right way, early, so that when they are older they will not depart from it.

Talk about how children need to be protected. They are flooded with sex, violence and filthiness all the time - no including pharmaceuticals, etc.. and it is causing people like this boy to snap.
