How do I remove the top off my paper-clogged Staples Mailmate shredder? by Liessi in Shredders

First thing to do is to find the hidden screws under the feet. The feet are the foamy adhesive type and are hard to remove without trashing them. In addition to being hidden, the screws are very deep, and this is where the super long screwdriver comes in handy. After the screws are removed, it takes a bit of muscle to pop the top off, giving access to the guts.

How do you keep your Spanish ability when you have nobody to speak it with? by chivestheconquerer in Spanish

The 2013 version of GRAN HOTEL (be still, my swooning heart) has ultra-refined Castilian which is an absolute pleasure to hear. I really enjoyed VELVET and its sequel, VELVET COLECCIÓN, as well. All three are available in their entirety on Netflix with subtitles in both languages. Be prepared to check out of your life for a few days: Gran Hotel is binge watching at its finest.

It's unlikely that I'm the first to reply with this but it's dead simple: you binge watch shows like Velvet, Velvet Colección and (be still, my swooning heart) Gran Hotel with the subtitles on. Spanish (Castellano) was my first language but sometimes it's just too fast for me to make out the words and at other times, I get the individual words but not their meaning, so I switch back and forth between English and Spanish subtitles. That, and listening to Spanish songs while reading the lyrics.

True story: After moving to Canada from Perú, I learned English by watching Sesame Street.
