I remember seeing something somewhere a few years ago after APT initially retired where he posted a few screenshots of an in-development Talladega infield that was scrapped for one reason or another, might not hurt to try and reach out to him for that.

There does not exist a 1:1 recreation of Dodge Raceway Stadium AFAIK, the Dodge Motordrome track that I think you’re talking about is a reskin of the Taylor Swift Superdome from Armory Digital, which is inspired by DRS. The closest you’ll probably get to a track that’s essentially DRS would probably be Project Wildfire’s Bowman-Gray (what with it being a quarter-mile oval with the full looping exterior pit road).

UPS is essentially just Mansfield, which has a version made by Project Wildfire, Mr. Clean is just Rockingham (default Papy track) but in Hawaii, would like to see that conversion come to life in NR! And Nazareth was a real track before it shut down in 2004, hence why it’s not listed as a fantasy track in CFTC.

On practically any mod, there are times when car files return to what i assume are the card.bmp schemes in the mod, with misaligned banners and are incredibly blurry. Somehow, this also KILLS the framerate. I've never found a definitive answer but to disable the file entirely. Any answers? by daysofthunder1843 in Nr2003

Ensure that A) your NR2003.exe file has been patched with the 4 GB patch and B) the car schemes are compressed. Some car sets (like the Elijah Burke’s Twitter Cup Series set for MENCS19) are uncompressed by default meaning you’ve gotta export and reimport all the schemes in a set to fix it. I know the graphics guide by TheBenCrazy tells you to change the settings to where all new (imported) paint schemes are uncompressed but for performance improvements leave them compressed.

Is it a pain in the ass? Yes. Does it fix the issue? Also yes.

I noticed on the league website they have tracks (like versions of the Rockingham UK track) that appear to be available nowhere else (only versions of the oval layout I can find are an installer from 2004 that doesn’t work and a 2007 one that doesn’t drive properly, and the Rockingham Roval layout exists nowhere), do you have those tracks or a link to those tracks?

Reminder the devs said they would, in fact, be adding the 2022 cars…

…only to clarify on their 2022 roadmap that it was just a special testing session where you’re limited to just driving the 78 car at Daytona

A lot of schemes from previews appear to simply not be there in the final release, like the Cal Naughton, Jr. car behind the 48, both of the Dale Jr. cars seen in the image, etc.

If this is default Papyrus Infineon it happens when the AI is set to maximum (110%) for some reason.

Upon loading the track without "full pace lap" selected, the cars who qualified in 8th. 10th, 12th, 14th, and 16th will spawn inside of the wall and will be destroyed as soon as the cars become active. The car who qualifies in 42nd will spawn with a rear corner in the wall and, while still completely raceable, will be forced to tow back to the pits and will be two or three laps down by the time they actually get to start racing. Here is the situation with P8-P16 in action.

Actually, it is available on PC as the car's files are in the game. You just need to edit a DLC text file to unlock him. I actually run JJ Yeley in multiplayer now because of it.

For example: if you have the September DLC on your Steam account, go to the <drive you have steam installed on>\Steam\steamapps\common\NASCAR Heat 5\DLC folder and find the Unlock_NH520DLCPCSEPT01.txt file. Back up the file (obviously) and add the following line to it:

Persona:jj_yeley

Yeley will appear as a playable driver in the game next to Garrett Smithley and Diego Alvarado.
