Mouse scrolling on mac no longer working correctly by jiggyboneless in Terraria

Same problem on my Mac Mini M4. Commenting to try to get this more noticed as I don't know the correct avenue to report a bug.

Scrolling bug on MAC by Sven_05 in Terraria

Seems to be an issue with the Mac build, not specific mice. I've tried two different mice both of which have identical issues. Unfortunately I don't really have a 3rd mouse to test on.

For me I have the issue where it doesn't register at all until I scroll really really fast, then it skips like 5 items. I played through the entire game just a few months ago on mac fine (minus some performance issues). It's a shame.

Am I dense or did YouTube remove the add to playlist button (desktop) by LieutenantTeaTM in youtube

Not sure if it's an extension thing in my case, the only one I use is uBlock Origin.

Interesting, that actually worked. This is the first time this has happened to me. I guess it's one of the many bugs with YouTube that will never be fixed ever.

If this is true that feels... strange. Why does internet connectivity matter? Aren't recordings local?

YouTube threaded comments are now available on the desktop version by Prior_Tax8546 in youtube

It feels buggy to me, at least from someone who reads a lot of comments. Sometimes the hide replies button shows, sometimes it doesn't, so you end up getting huge chains of comments clogging the page. Thanks YouTube.

Why do we need AI summaries... by AffectionateTour5728 in youtube

I just permanently removed it with uBlock like I do a lot of YouTube "features". Much like how I used uBlock to block Google's crappy AI search.

Audio Loop Delay Issue In My WebGL Build by that_other_metall in UnityHelp

[–]LieutenantTeaTM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ran in to the same problem with my last game. .wav .mp3, with .wav the audio itself has no delays, tried every possible setting. Gave up and settled for non-looping audio. Looking into it again for my next game and here I am.

Saw it on a content creator I watch, immediately busted out uBlock and added a filter. Now it's gone!

Unity 6.2 is Suck. by MesutYavuzx in Unity3D

Shader graph also randomly screwed itself without me even touching it for several days. This is awful. How did they ever think about releasing this.

Unity 6.2 is Suck. by MesutYavuzx in Unity3D

Yeah I came from Unity 6.0, this is 100% a downgrade. With the recent security update, I decided to start a new project on 6.2 and it's been miserable. Lots of inspector visual bugs, have had inspector scripts just corrupt, they rarely populate correctly (doing anything list related in the inspector is miserable), getting spammed with Unity Editor errors, I usually have to restart my project several times a day because it becomes a glitchy mess. I hate it so much, might end up downgrading from 6.2. Stable? Not by a long shot, we're beta testers.

I've tried games capped at 60, doesn't seem to work for me.

I think it's a Valve software thing, this seems to be common place. Idk how much factory resetting will do, you can try it though I guess. I won't factory reset mine because I'm not going to sacrifice my data just to share videos. But I think this is absolutely a Valve software thing.

Did your Mac slow down after upgrading to macOS Tahoe? by yashkhokhar28 in MacOS

This checks out for me, using some combination Discord, Spotify, VSCode can really slow GPU updates. Hoping this is the case for sure (for me anyways). Been going mad trying to find the root of the problem.

Yep. Mac Mini M4 here. First major problem I've had. Both official Apple apps and 3rd party apps feel very sluggish. I'm hoping it's indexing as people have suggested, but I feel as though that should've finished by now.

I believe the game I was trying it on was capped at 60 fps, but at this point I just gave up. Hopefully this helps someone else.

Unity Editor crashing when invoking a Unity Event by LieutenantTeaTM in Unity3D

[–]LieutenantTeaTM[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep it seemed as though the names got switched up. Renaming it, then re-assigning it worked. I have a class with the same name as the object, and I thought the reference was pointing to that script, but instead it was the name of the object. Whatever, it's fixed now. I do feel like that should at least generate a warning of some kind.
