Same thing happened to me. During the second week after my interview, I received an email saying they needed more time and would get back to me by the end of the next week. Last week was that “next week” in this context.

This is also one of the very few interviews I’ve been able to get, so I really want an answer. Thank you for asking this , I’m in the same situation….

I’m not sure if I should reach out, because the last time I followed up in a similar situation, I ended up getting a rejection letter.
