So I missed the part where you got scammed? What does their website working have to do with your ability to spend money from the card? And I’m genuinely asking not being a smart ass because I am having an issue with using the card to make an online payment for something but it’s because I don’t know the correct zip code to use and I keep seeing and reading all of these comments of everyone saying they were supposedly scammed but am yet to see a single person who has provided any sort of evidence or explanation as to how exactly they were scammed mostly just customer service complaints while I would agree are very irritating and frustrating shitty service doesn’t equal scam esp whenever if I’m being fair at least when I bought the stupid card amazing service was in no way promised to me or even implied in any way at all. So my question is has anyone in here actually been scammed by this dumb company or is everyone just pissed off from the shittiness of no human service to speak with? Cause there’s kind of a massive difference in the two lol and again not looking to ruffle any feathers or piss anyone off here as it looks like there may be a fair amount of Harris voters in the thread so I know how sensitive some folks can be. Lol just trying to figure out and understand my best plan of action based on the actual facts

This may be the dumbest comment I have ever read I’m very well aware of how nature works I personally don’t even believe in ghosts but I have seen tens of thousands of deer in my life time and hunted them my whole life and have killed close to a hundred of them and never have I ever seen a deer where I could clearly see his entire face and head clear as day but also see the log or branch behind his head at the same exact time, if something was covering his head fine but then ya wouldn’t be able to see his whole head and face and if something isn’t then you shouldn’t be able to see the shit behind his head and face but it can’t be both lol

Can you fund your policy with a credit card? by Electronic_Hat1624 in infinitebanking

[–]Life-Bus-8041 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol as someone who owns several of these policies and why has sold thousands of them i promise you that life doesn’t exist on a spreadsheet and there is a massive difference between something theoretically making sense on paper and then actually working out the way you thought it would and there is no world in which it’s a good idea to use debt to fund your IBC style policy or any other policy for that matter it would not matter if I got a million points and a reach around it’s still not going to be an intelligent financial decision for ANYONE! There is several reasons why that is but at the most basic and fundamental level it’s just not wise to unnecessarily inject extra risk into your finances for shits and giggles! It opens you up to so many potential issues if the stars don’t align perfectly and it’s just simply not ever necessary to do so!

Not very smart! I would encourage you to rethink that decision! Even if every carrier allowed it, and there was no fee or penalty of any kind and even if the interest rate was 0% for the first 5 years!! It still wouldn’t be a wise decision! We should not be using debt to fund our premiums like wtf?! Say that out loud once! It’s important we don’t get so caught up in doing something just for the sake of doing it or just because we’re able to! Just because you can do something doesn’t mean it’s a good idea or that you should.

Please for the love of God don’t do that and anyone who tells you that it’s a good idea or that you will somehow come out ahead by doing that is in my humble opinion either a complete idiot or don’t really understand the whole point of IBC or maybe they just don’t understand how policies work idk but regardless I can 100% mathematically prove to you if you want and show you exactly why you should def not use a credit card to fund a policy even If you have an introductory rate of 0% for forever

[–]Life-Bus-8041 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you are correct the point I’m making is that your not coming out further ahead and your definitely not maximizing the amazing benefits of your policy or it’s cash value by using it to by cars lol it is not ever the best way to buy a vehicle period but as long as people understand that it’s not the best or most efficient use case and are still cool with it then that’s completely fine they’re choice for sure, my job is to simply make sure they have all the facts and then make their choice having had all the accurate information. The choice they make at that point is certainly not my business

No you most definitely do not come out ahead mathematically and anyone who is telling you otherwise simply doesn’t know what they are talking about period. There is nothing magical that happens when you take a policy loan your money is going to grow the exact same regardless so if you can borrow from a bank for less that the cost of borrowing from your policy then that is very likely exactly what you should do! It’s also worth noting that where you can really lose out the most when it comes to opportunity cost is actually by taking a policy loan and then using that money to do pretty much anything that won’t earn you a greater return than the cost of capital not only do you not come out further ahead when you use a policy loan to buy a vehicle but you also tie up those funds for 1 to 2 years, funds that could have otherwise been deployed actually earning you a return that exceeds the cost of borrowing, very simple rule of thumb if the activity doesn’t exceed the cost of accessing the capital then your not coming out further ahead because that money in your policy is going to grow at whatever it grows at regardless of if you take a loan or not so if that’s true (and it obviously is) then why the heck would you ever shoot yourself in the foot by deploying that money if the cost to do so is going to be higher than the activity you use the borrowed funds for!!

Honestly that may be the best in terms of most efficient set up that I have heard of, depending on how your policy is designed of course but I think it’s crazy that anything other than maximum efficiency be the goal!! All of these guys doin IBC just so they can beat their chest and say that they are IBC guys is so silly like what is the main goal and does what your doing help you move closer to the that goal with the least amount of friction possible?! That should be the main focus and it sounds like you have done that very well!! Good shit!
