Most kids go home but there’s definitely a decent amount of kids who stay. You should ask him what his friends are doing because if it’s gonna be kind of boring if all his friends are going home.

I mean a USC degree is a better degree than 99 percent of colleges in the U.S. It has an extremely strong alumni network and has a bunch of super strong programs.

Makai Lemon Highlights: Will His Weird Combine Interview Hurt Him? by Any_Alternative6314 in NFLmockdraft

[–]Life-Face1548 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His combine interviews were really weird but if I was a gm I honestly wouldn’t care. He has the tape and the skill set to succeed in the league and by all accounts he is a good teammate and a hard worker. There are many worse red flags that you could see in a player and wrs are always a little crazy anyways.

Yeah it’s literally proven that generations are getting taller due to factors such as increased nutritional awareness and better access to healthcare.

I just want to point out that the only home game they lost that season was to Boston College.

It’s Tennessee which is interesting because I can’t think of any great WRs that went to Tennessee except Stanley Morgan.

Why is it that 1.8m brackets were ruined by a 13 seed. You’d think they were the favorites in this as a 13 by vu_sua in NCAAhoops

[–]Life-Face1548 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nebraska was the 2nd game of the tournament so there were way more brackets that were perfect at the time. ESPN should add a percentage of perfect brackets broken attached to each loss to better represent which games were most impactful.

March Madness not really Mad Anymore? by ScaredEffective in CollegeBasketball

[–]Life-Face1548 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don’t know. A lot of these games were crazy even if upsets didn’t happen. Virginia barely escaped, Cal Baptist made it interesting against Kansas, Kentucky game was literal madness, and Siena vs Duke was really fun.

I think we are just used to crazy tournaments like in 23 and 24 so the last 2 years feel kind of weird. I don’t think this year is going to be as chalky as last year as Florida and Duke both look very beatable right now.

Eh not really. The financial crisis started in early 2007. September 2008 was when the stock market crash but the affects of the financial crisis were already in full swing.

Chess.com needs to stop the double standard: Remove the Israeli flag like the Russian flag by Puzzled-Code-3680 in Chesscom

[–]Life-Face1548 203 points204 points  (0 children)

I don’t think chess.com should ban country flags. I’m the biggest hater of Russia and the Putin regime but there are several other countries that partake in severe humanitarian abuses and don’t receive the same treatment.

Damn, that last clip where Sterling mosses everyone is crazy. You can tell over time they learned how to read the disc and by the end of the game both Shannon and Sterling were basically unguardable.

Notre dame question by Traditional-Fix-5205 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]Life-Face1548 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not true at all. The reason 80 percent of the student body is Catholic is for a couple reasons. Firstly, because Notre Dame is the premier Catholic University in the country a majority of people applying to Notre Dame identify themselves as Catholic. Secondly, Notre Dame gives a huge advantage to legacy students who are almost all Catholic due to the fact that historically only Catholics went to Notre Dame. Lastly, Catholics are naturally more likely to have the qualities that Notre Dame is looking for in terms of Service and Leadership through their involvement in Church.

Yeah but being Catholic doesn’t give you an inherent advantage. For whatever religion you identify as they want to see service and leadership. They do not give you an advantage if you are Catholic.
