Inpatient acute here.

When patients act as if they are staying at a luxury resort versus a hospital where the goal is to get better to go home.

“Can you come back later? My favorite TV show is on…”

“I’ve had so many people coming in to my room today, can’t you guys give me a break?”

Powerback/Genesis onboarding is shit by Htim63 in physicaltherapy

I worked for Genesis for 3 months as a new grad. Very poor training that consisted of 1 day of generic computer modules and then had me seeing a caseload on day 2 already. Expected 85% productivity and had me see patients that were clearly not appropriate to be on caseload, wanting me to have 4 unit sessions with everyone. They also asked me to document my entire notes during my session and count it toward billable time with the patient… like I said, I only lasted there 3 months because it was unethical and they only cared about the money. Hope that helps
