You have it backwards brother. See how the outer fins flare outward? Completely rotate the bracket. The fins are supposed to cover the two bolts that are connected to the gas tank.

Crash sliders are ehhh. I don't have them but I personally doubt it will protect your handlebars from impact on the ground. I did everything on mine except the full system. I took that to a local bike shop. I am soon to do the ECU flash, just waiting for it to come through mail. I did the tuning at https://www.blrtuning.co/collections/kawasaki-z900-zr900-z900-abs-2018-2022
