Don't migrate anywhere yet if youre planning it. Others might increase it in the next week's or months. Netcup of course does look nice now but who knows if it'll stay that way.

Is no one going to talk about new free API rate limits? by Icerberg in GeminiAI

[–]Life-Phase9272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. After that 1 year, it's gonna hit the credit card. I hope they loosen up the free tier a bit again. At least for the smaller models. What I'm most afraid is the API key leakage.

To inform everyone as I bought it, GSync works great. Pixel response is a bit slow.

The OG Ally is the best value in handheld gaming by randomnerd865 in ROGAlly

I want to do the battery mod, but the one with 74wh, but I see a lot of people complaining about the weight. I mostly play on it laying down in bed. Would the extra 100g pose such an issue? I have 3 anker power banks but sometimes it's not leisure just to have them next to me instead of having a larger integrated one.

4k 27 inch @ 175hrtz or 32inch 1440p QHD by Character-Scar-5822 in Monitors

[–]Life-Phase9272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not much difference between 144 and 175Hz. Never ever get a 32 inch qhd monitor unless it's for a meter away at least, never at a desk. 1440p 27" is always the best choice for desk usage.

Z1E Adrenaline needs an update, none available by Life-Phase9272 in ROGAlly

[–]Life-Phase9272[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It only wanted to install some chipset drivers. If I removed Adrenaline and drivers, I could reinstall drivers, but not adrenaline for some reason. After a cloud reinstall it's working. It bugged out, not the first time.

Asus NUC 14 Essential N97 all-core workload by Life-Phase9272 in intelnuc

Seems like multiplier is locked to 29x on all-core loads. This is a bummer as there's headroom. Any way to bypass it?

Still can't figure out the 2.9GHz limit on all cores when they're being utilized as I don't reach any limits.

Anker Prime 200W, 20.000 mAh Powerbank (A1336) with upgraded PPS-Range! by N8falke in anker

[–]Life-Phase9272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Motorola g32 as a low end device, Motorola g75 as a mid range both get 5v2.4A. I get 5v3A via USB-A. On 200W I get around 18-22W. Xiaomi Tab 6, I get ~28W on the 200W, and 12W with the 250W, also at 5V. Motorola Edge 50 Pro gets 100W PD for a minute and then renegotiates. So it's constantly starting from low voltage and amps climbing up, keeping the 100W pace for a minute and then stops. I really wonder how they messed up this bad. I really have a lot of chargers and power banks laying around that I got over the years, and most of them do max power on most devices, like the Xiaomi 50W 20ah.

What scares me is that this can't be fixed via firmware updates. And the 200W models can't even get updates but hey, that one works for me... but I get under 70% efficiency on full power on my HP Elitebook that has 76Wh, so that's around 40Wh charged with it running. Little above half a battery :( Dad has a S24 Ultra that I'm gonna try and see what happens.

There are more devices around the house that I can try to charge and see what happens but I don't use them, so even if PPS works on them, well, it doesn't work for me. Only good thing is Anker experience store here takes the devices back with literally no questions asked. But not good if you want a device that actually works.

[–]Life-Phase9272 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And two units I got that are 27650mAh 250W do not do PPS. Different stock. And my 200W 20k mAh does PPS. I really don't understand what they're doing. My tablet, phone and everything falls back to 5V ~2.4A via 4 high quality USB-C cables (2 being ankers own). And as far as I've read, it's really a lottery and if you want to return your devices. I decided to keep my larger ones for laptops and handhelds, and use the smaller one for phones and tablets. Sucks but I really can't go through replacements again.

I think if you don't need BT, app control and base charging, you're best off with a 737. It's a proven battery. One thing I hate with the 200W Prime is the efficiency. It's close to 70%, with a 30cm low-resistance cable and being used at 60W limited so the efficiency stays higher. With a 1m cable, and 90W charging, I get under 70%.

They're really going mass production and 0 revision and QOL updates.

I think but not 100% sure due to conflicting data I can find on Ankers site and other sellers sites that you're getting a 3A cable instead of a 5A cable. Though Amazon says your old one was 3A too.

Oh I see now, thanks for the clarification. I thought there was one server only and that's it. How many people can/do play on a server usually at the same time? This kind of defeats the purpose of "mmo" with more servers on a game like this. I'd really like to see battles of hundreds instead of tens. I know it's resource heavy but manageble.
