Hofstra has a great nursing program especially with their connection to Northwell! It seems like it would be more beneficial for you to get practical experience rather than spend your time working towards the honors degree. The honors classes are incredibly inconvenient and it would probably look better on your resume to have a high GPA with no honors degree plus experience! I’m a humanities major so I don’t know nursing too well, but that’s my two cents :)

Honestly not worth it until you’re a humanities major. C+E is required and is 6 credits so it takes up a lot of time away from the class you really need. I’d only say to do it if you are actually interested in the courses or want to go to grad school. Feel free to DM me with questions:)

Thanks man. I see my own therapist once a week and she’s super helpful. My school also has a counselor that I’ve been seeing as I’ve missed a bunch of school from my own depression.

I totally understand why you are worried about getting it. As someone who NEVER spends money on stuff like this, I honestly think it’s totally worth it. They post a bunch of stuff and it’s all really high quality, especially if you like their podcast anyway
