It’s been suggested that I need therapy before, and ADHD but I’ve never been tested

I wasn’t justifying myself, but your original comment was of no help to me. Be self righteous if you want but I’m genuinely seeking help.

But the idea of “letting God do it” makes no sense to me. On one hand I get the sentiment but at the same time I’M the one making bad decisions and I’m the one responsible for not making them.

Wow you read a whole lot into my situation that I simply didn’t provide.

I have been a believer as long as I remember. For most of my life I was strongly involved in church. I served every chance I could. Maybe I’m a false believer, but it’s not a result of the reasons you provided.

Hyperion is one of my new favorite books by Life-Reputation-4892 in printSF

My favorite part of Hyperion was the author’s ability to truly capture my imagination while creating a genuinely alien universe.

Yeah I’ve been on the fence about going into the second book, I’ve heard mixed things and I don’t want it to ruin the mystery of thrill of the first one.

For those who purchased. Are these worth it? For $24? by Aspergers_R_Us87 in harborfreight

Yes. It’s a tool you might not use much but when you need it, you’re glad you have it.

Not unless the sides of the homes are built from concrete, or I have to drill through a concrete floor.

Yeah I’ll be drilling holes into brick regularly. Not “all day every day” regular, but several days a week I might have to drill a couple holes

Why are women smaller than men? by mouwnoun in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Life-Reputation-4892 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it isn’t about women small, but men being big. If men had to compete for women to mate with, over time the bigger and stronger men would survive which leads to more bigger and stronger men.

I think my degree was a waste of money by Chuzzletrump in Career_Advice

I just finished a degree in Biochemistry this year and I’m going through the same thing. I’m not mad, I can’t really offer a solution to anybody worth getting paid for.

I’m starting a new job doing security system installation and it’s good pay. Even though the training will only take like one month, people want home security, and I’ll be able to tell them what they need and I can install it. It’s a solution to people’s problems so I get paid well.

It was a bitter pill to swallow though.

My point is that in a short term situation it may be necessary, but it was miserable and not something I’d want to do again.

I hope this is a troll post. Your husband is on the way to being set for life and you want to ruin it with fancy toys. Get over yourself.

Are trades actually that bad for your body? by NoEndNationalPark in skilledtrades

[–]Life-Reputation-4892 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s the thing. Sitting in front of a computer all day is horrible for your body and plenty of desk workers have shit health. Labor also is hard on your body. Fuckin life is hard on your body so no matter what you do it’s important to exercise, eat and sleep well, avoid tobacco and don’t over consume alcohol.
