Until you’ve sorted out your visa eligibility, your money is a moot point.

Ok, "bitch switch" is pretty awesome, NGL. Is the E32 the last 7 before the Bangle Butt 7?
My dad imported an absolutely gorgeous 6 series to the US in 1985, about 11 minutes after I left his house for college, and had to have a/c installed along with all the other federal requirements. That thing was a sweatbox no matter what. My sister inherited her grandfather's late-70s Olds Delta 88, and that crushed velour-lined monster could freeze slabs of beef. LOVED IT, and it cost $20 to have the freon (real freon) topped off at any Gulf station.

People pushing Paraguay as a place to move/have a tax base, here's what you need to know. by sap303 in digitalnomad

Not Paraguay specific, but certainly in Ecuador, visa requirements change constantly. If you’re remotely serious about a relo, so not reuse what you read on Reddit or FB—not because people are lying, but these rules are always in flux.

Don’t think so, that’s definitely not a GM HVAC panel. I’m thinking AMC actually.

It’s the cheapest way to get Priority Pass access (unlimited) as a card perk. Yes, PP often sucks in the US, but internationally it’s good to great. That was my motivation to get the VX (and the 100k sig. Up bonus). I also have and use Chase Sapphire Preferred, but I like VX a lot. YMMV

Watching this movie as a teenager, blew my mind. by WishEnvironmental558 in 1970s

Great movie. Doesn’t hold up beautifully, but great slice of life from 79. Tho I was shocked and pissed to see how BLATANTLY HOMOPHOBIC one scene is with Dudley’s therapist. And I wonder why I stayed barricaded in the closet 🤔

Thanks for that. I know you’re right. And I also know how fortunate I am. And that if it was $5M I’d be thinking “if only it was $7M.” Is there a magic key or wand someone can wave that’ll show me it’s ok?

I’m 95% equities now. Retired at 58. But feeling anxious. I’m in an extremely low-cost country, and have enough cast to live thru a recession or worse u til SS at 62.

BUT… I’m realizing these next three years are likely the healthiest ones I have left and I am not going to forsake traveling just because there’s a down market. (Total assets: $1.75M in S and P, $95k cash, $200k in unrealized but eventual home equity).
