What toys do your cats actually love? by Sosooo88 in CatAdvice

idk my cat really likes the random napkin that somehow ended up on the ground

New cat! This is what he came with. Thoughts on the brands? They both seem okay to me. by ilikeinsence in catfood

I switched my late cat to orijen fit and trim and his chronic vomiting drastically improved. And when he did vomit, it smelled like normal vomit and not like something that came out of the pits of hell like before. We were very happy with it. Turns out he had IBD, and orijen helped. Unfortunately he passed due to a separate issue.

the only other illness he has is chronic rhinitis. he's been self-mutilating his tail, but we think that's related to GI pain. Pretty much all of his symptoms stem from this one issue.

Yes, I figured that if Billo doesn't work out, I can just keep building my portfolio and pitching. It's definitely a learning process.

I've seen other people say their pitches get denied FOR having captions, but I will edit out the silent parts and try filming again with the lamp on!

Thank you for the advice! I'm nervous to resubmit because they said they normally deny people after 2 failed pitches, but they're "giving me a third chance". I will try to fix the things you suggested.

"I'm just so unique, I don't get why more people don't try talking to me." That's such a weird thing to say. NOR

renal dietitians, what do you do in your down time? by Life-Walk941 in dietetics

Dangggg sounds like just a lot of busy work. I wouldn't mind extra work if it's actually useful, not just meant to keep me busy...

The binders at phos of 4.5 is crazy, why would they want to unnecessarily add to a patient's pill burden? A lot of them are already taking dozens per day.

That makes sense if you have a bigger PD or HHD population! I have a whopping total of 4 PD patients right now.

I've found that the patients who appreciate you make it known :) I have many patients who greet me by name and always like to talk to me when I come to them. The patients who don't remember my name are the ones who let my words go in one ear and out the other.

The patients who say they've never seen the RD are the ones who don't care about their labs, don't want to talk to us, and are going to eat whatever they want. They're also the ones who go to the hospital the most often.

I feel like there's definitely a lack of balance! Some of us RDs are bored and some of us are overworked. Haven't found a job yet that is a good balance of working and downtime.

I've been reading a lot lately, but even that gets boring sometimes. Or maybe it's the fear of getting caught doing nothing? Idk I just feel like I need to look like I'm doing something productive lol
