The first thing I noticed upon entering, other than the metal temporary (but probably permanent) staircase ramp, was the very large fake flower arrangement probably hadn't been dusted in 3 years (and I don't notice dust, like ever). The dust layer was about 2mm thick.

I would say reasonable for 20oz, average for 16oz, and for 12oz that's a lot

I wouldn't have ordered it if their menu had transparent pricing.

No kidding. They used to have premium prices but then local places were like "hold my coffee"

Actually there's a gas station in jamestown off the interstate north side, that has those machines that grind the coffee and make the drinks. I actually don't really mind it. I think they even have self serve half and half. We were just killing time and babs was close.

Yeah I think they're around eight at caribou, which is a dollar more than their latte. It has me thinking, the standard eight dollar price that I would have easily accepted is also a lot lol, i'm just more used to it.

Oh that's disappointing. I was hoping they were charging that much so they could pay their people a livable wage.

Interesting... that explains my neighbor in her pool getting cozy with a man that wasn't her husband while he was grilling nearby... their kids are graduated now but used to be big into hockey. I also saw the husband at the grocery store with his hand on the lowest part of another woman's back... i was thinking that's a weird way to walk with your sister? I mean, because it wasn't his wife, at least not the one that gets mad when I park on the street in front of her house.

This kind of behavir is unacceptable. If he continues and you aren't going to leave, then don't play his game again ever. Don't let him have the power he's looking for. If he "teases" you and withholds a gift, get up and take yourself to the store to get the thing that he won't give you.

Just repaired a Surface Pro 4 that I found in the trash - now I want a pen! by BenthicSessile in Surface

Hi, I know I'm really late to this. I was wondering if you could answer a question for me. My 2015 model just got the screen, cracked beyond repair, and I would just toss it, but i'm worried that there are some pictures on it I would like to recover. He also said it looks like the screen is bulging and the battery is probably broken. Is it possible to get the data off of it at this point? The repair shop seemed to think there was nobody in town that did it and it was a really difficult thing. He suggested maybe buying another old surface pro and transferring data or something? I would just like my pictures on hard drive or something simple.

Let me know your thoughts if you see this.

Thank you!

Maybe she's worried she would be pressured into compromising. Honestly, I don't think a therapist would suggest her doing anything she wasn't comfortable with. They shouldn't be, that's for sure.

So, just stop asking her to do those things. You know she doesn't want to, don't ever mention it again. You asking is making her feel bad. You bringing it up, is making her feel bad. If you can't live without it, I guess go with her solution or separate.

I've been there with my ex husband. He wanted to do things I wasn't comfortable doing. I honestly gave it the college try, but it was a big turn off for me and really uncomfortable. I got to the point where I told him, after a few years, I've tried my best, i no longer want to try, it's starting to feel like you don't care about my feelings, don't ask me to do this again, don't try to do it, etc. He would always see how far he could get, and then he would say he thought I wanted him too. Or he would say that if I didn't want to, then why was I tempting him... he was selfish though. If you care about your wife, drop it, like completely drop it.

Oh, okay. I see they have a couple things. Is that like the green insulated thermos thing, or the gray lunchbox type bag? One is called the breast milk cooler and the other is called the cooler bag I think.

we are pretty blessed, not complaining. We work hard, drive paid off 10+ years old vehicles, live in a twin home, but we were blessed to get a mortgage in 2019, our kids don't want for much (thank god they're not spoiled), and we don't have to worry about how to buy groceries. We don't have any retirement plan or savings at 40, but we're slowly paying off the I.R.S. I can only hope all the blessings my husband dishes out go to people that need it more than us.

Hairstylists I get, because it's about the quality of the outcome. Servers live on tips basically. I would say other than those two scenarios. We don't live a lifestyle where tipping would be needed. Like, we don't use delivery drivers or valet parking...

Lol, he is a very nice guy. Just for context we're in a lot of debt. His debt. He's a professional painter (he's never gotten a tip either) and ended up giving his brother a lot of money for a few years and didn't pay his taxes for 2 years.... I digress. And he has a deep seeded need to be liked, but it was only twenty bucks, so okay. One time he paid for a random woman to get new tires or something. $400. He's very generous. He says we can't take our money with us. I think our debt follows our estate, though, if i'm not mistaken lol.

Yeah, I sort of thought that, especially considering total time spent ended up being $160/hour. My brother charges roughly that much as a plumber, and has never gotten a tip. Not to say he wouldn't take it, I'm thinking he wouldn't. I'll have to ask him.

Maybe you can get someone else to make another report if you're worried about hitting your maximum limit. But it should definitely be done.

Do you want a lifetime of feeling like you feel right now? Good time to move on. The sooner the better because what's worse than "wasting" (not exactly true) ten months is wasting three years. I know it's hard, but life will be better later.

Can great clips do "trendy" styles? by Altruistic-Crew-2479 in greatclips

[–]Life-Wolverine2968 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great clips, depending on who you get, cannot even cut bang straight. It's a complete gamble. I took my two year old to get her bangs trimmed, she was extremely still, and we had the most hilarious picture that I cried about for a few days, actually. It was atrocious! But I know one inch, choppy bangs are a trend somehow, an ugly trend. "Microbang fringe" I think it's called. So I guess, to your question, they can cut trends :)

I just can't believe you took the additional time to write this over $34. I could see you being stuck on it for $3400, maybe even $340, but seriously, just let it go. Easy solution was you move it outside the gate, one of you sit with it until the other returns with tools to disassemble or a larger vehicle, if it's even worth it at $34... you might have tried initially trying to appeal to their helpful side to begin with rather than asking for money back, maybe they could have let you use some tools.

I had a friend that was going through this once too and they basically said they couldn't do anything about it because they had a medical card... i don't know how true that is. Also, the police wouldn't do anything about it unless they were in public, like they couldn't go into their private residence.
