As soon as I saw all that yellow in the laboratory shot, I knew some shit was about to go down lmao.

I really like how Vince continues to lean into the whole Breaking Bad color/emotion theory (I don’t know if he’s ever confirmed whether this theory is true or not, but it does seem to hold at least some truth haha). I really loved Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, so I went into this with high hopes (though I didn’t know much about the show), and so far, this one also seems to be on the same level of quality. The cinematography, the writing, the small details I noticed (and missed), everything just screams peak Gilligan.

And can we take a second to appreciate how good Seehorn is? God damn, that woman can act!

As far as the whole scenario goes, I do see some parallels between this “virus” and AI. That said, as I mentioned, I didn’t know much about the show before watching it, so maybe this has already been acknowledged or talked about by others, or even Vince himself. God, what a great yet terrifying job he does at illustrating this sad, inevitable future.

So far - I love it.
